Wednesday: 12.12m -4%
Thursday: 14.06m +16%
Friday: 10.54m -25%
Saturday: 31.62m +200%
Sunday: 20.55m -35%
Wknd: 62.71m
this is my curent prediction if it continues to track like it is and has the same tipe if increases and decreases of the film of 99. I think an increase from wknd to wknd is garanteed but this is a pretting big increase over last wknd. Man would it be cool to see this 8) if it did this it would be at 186m by sunday even worst cas cenario puts this film over last wknd

I would love to see this too 8)
This movie has defied most expectations at this point. Most people are predicting this movie to be in the 30's. I think it might stay in the 40's.

to not have over 50m it would have to drop very hard for the next three days than have a moderate 150% increase on saturday this film is going to be huge the first film to open over 45m to have a 30m saturday on its second wknd I think this film can do it but its still going to shcok me when it does

look at the 99 numbers this film would have to change pattern by a larg margin to not do this

It will do well this weekend, I agree, just not that well. My prediction is an excellent 25% drop to $33 million.

No different than putting Kingdom of Heaven and Narnia: the witch, her brother, her in-laws, her neighbors and whatever as a lock for 200 mil.

If you don't mind me asking, why exactly would it jump that much?Especially for a movie that opened to over $40 million?
2nd Weekend: $33.52 million (-25%)

The family films (with the exception of TPE) will all likely increase this weekend. The adult films will suffer smaller declines.

I am not using any certain movie because all movies are unique in their runs, I just take the averages and mix them with my own thoughts

1) It had a $46 million opening weekend.
2) No films with an opening that large have ever increased in their second weekend
3) I said so

The biggest increases for that weekend in 1999 were for Stuart Little and Galaxy Quest, two childrens movies. The biggest increase for a non-childrens movie was for The Green Mile, which shouldn't even be compared to Fockers. There is not one movie from 1999 that can be considered exactly like Fockers. Duece Bigalo was rated R, was not a sequel, and wasn't a huge hit anyways. Any Given Sunday is a teen/adult football movie. Meet the Fockers can't be compared to anything from 1999, and considering that this is 5 years later, you can't exactly expect the same exact thing to happen.
If I use 1999's numbers, this is what I'll predict...
Wednesday: $11.61 million (-8%)
Thursday: $11.95 million (+3%)
Friday: $8.36 million (-30%)
Saturday: $20.90 million (+150%)
Sunday: $14.00 million (-33%)
Weekend: $43.26 million
And that's assuming that this movie follows the exact pattern of slighty similar movies from 1999, even though there is no one movie that is exactly the same. It'll drop, whether it's 1% or 30%. It'll drop.

That would really be quite amazing if it managed that.
