Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
So TGM is at 2.83m admissions after 9 weeks and will definitively reach blockbuster status (3m).
TGM is the biggest Tom Cruise film in 22 years (No. 5 overall) in admissions.
TGM is the biggest Tom Cruise film of all-time in box office (€29m)

Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
What a weekend...
First numbers indicate a huge 275k opening of ONE PIECE FILM RED, 250k for SMILE (up again!!!) and 225k for local family film. HALLOWEEN ENDS will open better than KILLS...

Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
I'm perusing the German box office weekends on Mojo and I noticed something. Black-led films and black narratives don't do well. Nope did about $2 million, Three Thousand Years of Longing missed $500k, Beast didn't reach $400k, The Woman King opened in seventh ... but The Black Phone made $3 million. It seems every wide white release does better. Even flops in the U.S., like The King's Man, did $5 million. Crawdads is up to $6 million. Dog did $2.3 million. Heck, even The French Dispatch did $2.3 million! Lightyear also flopped, with $1.38 million. Germany really isn't tolerant of wokeness

Re: Germany Box-Office Thread
Haven't checked your site in a while. Will do again over the weekend. With 230k, is 500k a reasonable goal for One Piece? I assume they'll be frontloading, but could be wrong.
