Post MOD Z and MOD T: Episode 1 - The Honeymooners
There's only a couple things that can make a man chuckle in this abomination. One - the first five minutes. Cedric can sorta dance to some 70s music. Two - Oprah. Gabrielle Union apparently has a fat momma who looks just like Ms. Winfrey. She ate all six of her kids. Three - the audience. The audience gave me more laughs than the 90-ish minutes on the screen. One white guy (who laughed about ten times overall) delt with the movie by slurping his Coke. The noise, I gather, brought more excitement to him than Mike Epps' dry performance. The movie is a series of bits that have no connection to each other. Each tries to serve up some laughs with facial expressions, stereotypes, and bad, bad one-liners (and, no. Being black doesn’t help you here). If you can take movies without a plot (oh, and a flawed screenplay that makes Cedric's intelligence waver like a zombie), this baby's for you. Otherwise, the only plus is seeing the audience try to sit through it, a few funny bits, and the shexy Gabrielle Union. F+

The Honeymooners was, unfortunately, a complete mess. Starting off as a movie that looked to be going somewhere, the movie ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth. When you have a comedy, and the funniest part was the guy sitting near the camera slurping up his diet coke, making an eerie, but hilarious sound, you've got a terrible film. The best part about the film was Gabrielle Union's beauty, but even she had a terrible performance. Mike Epps, who has never been considered even worthy of a $10 yearly salary, shows that even $10 is too much in this film. His performance will be known by the end of the year as this year's "Cary Elwes" performance (bad actor from Saw). The movie never really tells you what it's actually about, and is just a film of random occurrences featuring bad actors. One of the worst movies of the year, and I wouldn't even recommend this to Stevie Wonder. It could burn his eyes. The Honeymooners receives a well-deserved F. No effort was put in this film to even earn anything higher. F

So, do you think Mike Epps is already a step ahead in the race for a Razzie?

Before seeing this movie, I could have swore Christian Slater had it in the bag with Alone in the Dark. :-k

Haha, yeah. I knew The Honeymooners would be bad, but geez. I wanted to throw a tomato at the screen just so I could be spared from one extra nanosecond of his wretched performance.

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell the movie was about. I saw Oprah, a random chinese guy, and a train.

What the hell was this movie about, MOD T?

I give the reviews an F -.

Hopefully, this idea will be one of the shortest runs in internet history.

Closing on opening night.

A much deserved goodbye and goodnight.

That's a question for Einstein, MOD Z. Can you even see a friend of yours liking this movie?

I have a friend who watches You Got Served! almost every day and even HE would still hate this film, honestly.

So, what baffles me is how did the director of this film expect the audience to believe that a beautiful bombshell like Gabrielle Union would marry a fat, bus driver who can't dance to save his life?

Blame the friggin' TV show. Still, Paramount could have corrected it. He's got as much personality as Keanu Reeves. Plus, he needs better friends. I'd rather spend an hour with MJ than Epps. Anyways, that's all the time we've got. I'm giving this a . What do you give it, Zingaling?

We tried to keep the reviews as mini-reviews (ala Ebert and Roeper) and limited to 100 words.

We both exceeded that amount, though...

I think that's the first time BJ's ever said something semi-negative.

This idea's headed towards the garbage.
