The "30 Days" Season 2 Thread
The first season was pretty good...
The first episode of this season was about an American who was fired because his job got outsourced to India... so he went to live with a family that got an outsourced job.
It was really really good.
Discuss!!!

Wait, I haven't seen either, but wasn't the outsourcing one the second episode of this season?
Last week's premiere, I believe, was the immigration one.

I watched it. Great episode. I also watched the non muslim with the muslim house hold, and also the mom that drinks like her daugher, and also the guy who takes like 41 pills a day and growth hormones and testoserone to make him lose weight.

So he used invisible unicorns as an example of why God doesn't exist, eh?
Poor poor Christians. The invisible unicorn is air-tight logic.

Just watched the atheist/Christian episode, which was great. (And filmed pretty close to me, actually.)
I obviously was partial to one side here, but the Christian wife ended up being pleasantly rational. Husband not so much, but it did seem like he came around a little in the end.
I haven't been interested enough in any of the episodes' themes this season to tune in, except for this one.
Any recommendations of past episodes from this season?

Probably the episode about the minute man going to live with the family of illegal immigrants.
Or maybe even the guy who went to live with a family that his job was outsourced to.
Both I thought were pretty good. But last weeks, the new age medical stuff, was kinda boring.
But tonight is the episode I can't miss!!!

I like the episodes of 30 Days where I feel like I learn something (makes me feel good). That happened with the atheist episode last week, but not with this week's.
I thought the immersion was interesting, and I liked the girl (Jennifer? with whom I did side) but it was basically a lot of back and forth, and hugs and crying at the end.
Glad I watched it, though. The show still has a lot left to explore, it appears (just when I was thinking it didn't).
And next week's finale looks to be one of the most interesting with Spurlock spending a month in prison. The minimum wage episode with him and his fiance as the subjects was probably the best episode last season. Hope this one lives up.

Aired a week ago, but the finale was, indeed, really good.
Has the show been picked up for a third?
