I swear I clicked on post new thread and was about to make one for DH:S4 hours earlier but I decided not to because I wanted to include the new ad they have out but it wasn't online yet.

The promo looks really good actually. DH has some of the best advertising campaigns every fall. I'm interested all over again.

They look hot. And it's obvious Nicolette has been re-nogiationg her status on the show. Has she ever been so prominent in the promos before this season? It's no longer the four stars, it's five now.

I hope they do the gay couples in a funny, dark way.

The promo is sexy & dark. love to see lynette in a black wig. we'll see what happens.

ooops. yeah. The seasonal neighbors this year will be a gay couple.

Quote:
Desperate’ Finds Its Gays!
Said Gays Inspired By Bob Woodruff

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for: Desperate Housewives‘ higher-powers has cast the sudster’s gay couple!

Desperate Housewives has tapped One Life to Live’s Tuc Watkins and ex-Judging Amy actor Kevin Rahm to play Wisteria Lane’s first gay couple. Watkins will play Bob, described as a country mouse who leaves the big city for greener (and quieter) pastures. Rahm is his bitchy partner, Lee.

A bitchy queen in prime time? Awesome! We can’t wait to hear what GLAAD has to say about golden, gay-televising child ABC now.

Hmm.. I thought the new neighbor was that Bree wannabe. She's the one in the promos isn't she?

^^It's a bunch of old scenes with some new ones towards the end.

shes the new housewife
expect the gay couple to be a relegated second family like the one with Caleb in it.

I think the new housewife will probably be grafted into the new cast. Because one housewife will be killed off before half season.
Im guessing its Longoria or Huffman.

Wha wha? Where'd you read that?

I kind of don't want any of them killed off. I guess if I was forced to pick one of the main four, I'd go with Susan or Gabby, considering how annoying they both can be.

They are to big to be killed off. It'll probably be um, Nicolette's character. To bad, her storys were getting good to.. love that commercial for it though, with the J.LO song.

Oh my... can it be Bree?

Why else would they be bringing in another Bree to the mix?

Edit: There is no way they would just kill off one of the housewives just for the sake of killing someone off. They wouldn't kill off Edie right after let us think she killed herself but most probably didn't succeed. The only reasonable explanation I can think of is someone requesting to leave the show. And Marcia Cross is more than the other housewives in a position to ask for a leave since she just had kids and may want to focus on motherhood.

Either way, I don't see why there needs to be this obsession with killing someone off. They can always, you know, just move and then possible come back if they wanted to.

Most anticipated behind Ghost Whisperer and B&S tonight. Last season was great, nice pick up after the 2nd season.

Oooh, I liked the premiere. The whole resolution to the "Edie commits suicide" storyline was kind of lame, though.

I feel like Dana Delany could be really good on this show. And does Nathan Fillion plan on making a career out of playing gynecologists? He also played one in Waitress.

LOVED tonight's premiere. Best episode since "Bang," and one of the strongest since season one.

Dana's character can go either way, be totally annoying but someone who's scenes you cannot wait for, or be totally annoying and want her off now.. There will always be only one Bree Vandicamp.

I actually didn't enjoy it as much as some you I guess.

Thought it was good... just not great.

From the first scene with scene with Susan, I realized there really was nowhere to go with her character besides the baby route. Interesting to see if they follow through with it.

Lynette's story was a bit underwhelming. The mother was underused. Tom was underused. It just didn't match the emotional peak it left us with last season.

I'm not liking Eddie's storyline either. I mean, does she actually love Carlos? Seems like she's just doing anything not to be lonely. For the first time, I'm really not interested in where Gabby's story is going either.

The one storyline that I thought was the weakest from the finale is the one I actually ended up embracing in the premiere and thought it was the strongest of them all. And that's Bree's storyline. I loved the depth they gave to the whole baby thing. Very Bree. I will be sooooo annoyed if they kill her off.

So, are we seriously getting gay neighbors? Because it doesn't feel like we're gonna get more storylines anytime soon.

Bree had the funniest line. When Susan noted that without Edie there's no gossip, Bree said "Well this just shows the fundamental selfishness of suicide!"

Great episode. I wish the show was getting the 25+ million viewers it was getting in its first season, the quality is almost better than ever. The little show down between Bree and Mini Bree was fantastic.

I loved the scene between Marcia Cross and Dana Delany in the kitchen. It was pretty hysterical watching them "fight" while sporting plastered-on supersmiles throughout.

I feel like the scene with Carlos plotting to end his Edie problem was misdirection, I seriously doubt he would actually put out a hit on her. He's probably paying that guy to make sure his illegal account gets closed or something.

Ya thats what I'm thinking to. I would love to see her go instead of Lynette, a kill is pretty drastic. She's getting on my nerves too but I come on. Eva was good tonight, I forgot she could pull out an emotional scene..her best was when they got the baby taken away though, I forgot about how hard that one was.
