Stop fighting. Just, like, now. Stop it. That's what turned BOM into a daily crapfest. No it didn't.. What turned BOM into a Crapfest was Sean Salsbury abusing his Power and Banning people for the most assinine reasons I've ever seen, including myself, Maverikk, Baumer and the list goes on.. Salsbury bit the hand that fed him and the popularity of his website and as a result, flushed it right down the toilet..

It's my understanding that the decision was made due to her not wanting to have kids right now or ever, and him being ready to be a dad. It's no big deal in my life that they split. At least they didn't split up because of Russell Crowe. [-X
As far and Jennifer's looks, she's totally hot, and not leagues below Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt also doesn't have to get his jollies while he's young and handsome, because he's rich. He can be old and wrinkled, and he'll still be able to get any woman he wants. Look at Michael Douglas. Would the super hot CZJ have given him a second look if he was a mailman? :^o Brad Pitt didn't need to break it off so he could play the field before it was too late. It'll never be too late for him with all of his money.
Anyway, it's not worth anybody getting tense over, so relax everyone. :-$

Well if Michael Douglas were a filthy rich mailman she might.. And I agree... It just seems like Marriage and Divorce in Hollywood amongst the Stars is like a 24 hour revolving door whern it comes to a loving em and leaving em type of thing.. 180,000 people are dead over in Asia from the Tsunami and people are crying over Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston splitting up.. Gotta love those priorities huh??? The Bottom line: Brad Baby won't have no problem getting over this and some chick will bear his children 1 day so he shouldn't fret about it.. Enjoy it while it last Brad... There's many of guys tied down right now that are probably wishing there where your at.. \:D/ By the way, How's it been going lately Mav?? Haven't seen you around all that much..

Brad and Jen had to do with kids, not sex. I'm sure Jen just realized that having kids alters a women's sex drive, and more likely than not she's the one that wants to keep it active rather than him.
There are infinately as many women who are as well "tied down," as you say. And trust me, they are definately wishing quite the same thing your men are, so there's no need to make this some regressively gendered discourse about pining, doting, disinterested ladies and their uber-virile desperate husbands. That's pretty much all I have to say about such a misogynistic construction of a topic as complex as divorce.
As to the celebrities, ultimately its their divorce, and everyone should just let them handle it privately as they deem fit. They probably are quite upset, people in Hollywood believe in love just like everyone else, and they just have to look all happy, recovered, and on top of things, for the cameras that are permanently parked outside the front door.

Been enjoying my retirement, BKB. Getting some things done that I can't keep putting off. I popped in here yesterday and saw all of the great changes that have been made here. Hope it's going well for you and all of the others too.

Not if we were the last two people on the face of the planet.
Firstly because I don't plan on getting married. Secondly, because I don't agree with about 95% of your social and political views, and thirdly, because you talk down to women and don't even realize how demeaning it is.

The Hollywood scene is a greater threat to the holy Institution of Marriage than the gay community ever was or will be.

So here's the big question.
They say they are having a trial separation.
If Pitt sees someone during that time, has a short term affair, can he explain it away to Aniston later by saying "But we were on a break!!!"?
