Well, holiday is truly over, as the Sunday-to-Monday drops increased across the board.

Yay, go WHITE NOISE.
It had a massive opening in the UK.
Number 1. $3,338,647 and a $10,633 pta. Seriously close to the US one. It opened ahead of other openers THE AVIATOR and ALEXANDER.

Once it expands to 2000 theaters we will know for sure. I think 60m is a lock, I think 70 is what it should shoot for and 80 would be the most it could expect.

I can't wait until National Treasure passes Shark Tale. Even though National Treasure isn't THAT good of a film, Shark Tale wasn't even funny. But, maybe the after effect of Shrek 2's number and the envy I felt had a BIT to do with it...

The amazing thing is is that Fockers isn't beating WHITE NOISE by much and both should battle this MLK Weekend..

I doubt it. White Noise will likely drop every day this week. I doubt it will be over 1 million by Thursday.

Who says?? Every movie on Mondays Estimates Moviedude dropped like a rock, not just White Noise.. I know you despised the movie and all, but come on.. You've got to admit it's doing alot better than many aren't willing to give it credit for and for some reason, this must bother folks that it's doing better than they expected or wanted it to.. I smile at the mere notion of that.. FUCKING WHITE NOISE RULES MOVIEDUDE AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!

To prevent another heated White Noise debate: White Noise is doing very well given the reviews, but horror movies generally drop throughout the week. It is already defying the trend (increasing on Saturday) so it might be slightly different.
