Not much. Adidas and some other shit ones. I would probably wear it to go clubbing, etc. so at night. Would probably work.

Terre d' Hermes def. wouldn't work then. It's a daytime smell.

For clubbing? I dunno, I really don't think scents make the difference between a pussy/no-pussy night. You want something that defines you and gives you fake confidence. If Blue Jeans does that, don't waste your time looking for anything else.

Well i went in with some pretty big spots still hanging around from the breakout.
Got the anesthetic, they put an oxygen mask on me too
Came out. My breakout was so much better its unbelievable. My skin is tighter and softer and the spots and bumps left have shrunk considerably.

I am not sure if it was just the thing clearing up, but the oxygen and or the anaesthetic totally helped my skin in a MAJOR way.

im pretty sure it was the oxygen as you can get oxygen facials in London. Seriously my skin is 100000x better. Maybe it was all the sleeping i did today too. Either way im grateful. I should go for the snip more often.

I'm thinking of getting bath gel from bodyeclipse.com, the place that makes bath stuff for some resorts and hotels I've been to. But, if anyone knows of a great higher-end bath gel (no Suave, Softsoap, Axe shit - because that stuff stinks and dries me out), let me know. Body Eclipse offers Eucalyptus-scented bath gel for either $9 for 8 oz, or $40 for a gallon.

so my skin is appalling right now. That breakout has hung around and intensified
no doubt due to me unwittingly combining sacylic acids with benzoyl peroxide. Plus the new benzoyl gel im using super dries out my skin.

With these things you can only wait.
Benzoyl peroxide takes a little while to kick in again.
And i guess my skin will improve whenever i can, oh say REGULARLY WASH AGAIN. Seychelles should help too. Meh I don't want holiday photos with me looking like im wearing a pizza.

See when i was in carlisle, and when im in carlisle, all i have to do is bash some proactiv on every few days. Wash my face with water and a little tea tree. I, being a lazy student, dont change my sheets there as much as i should and my skin stays better than i've ever had it.

Coming home and suddenly my face is like the Andes. All of those years i was troubled with acne i just assumed it was my body, but now im thinking its more of my bodys reaction to the locality.

i haven't had a breakout in years, and even when I did it wasn't even that bad. the only problem i have is blackheads which are gross. i have to mask it off like a bitch.

but last week, i saw this girl who was obiously having a bad break-out and it was disgusting. acne is really a put off for me. i'm so superficial.

My fellow metrosexuals, do you go to a stylist or a barber? Stylist is the way to go for me, whenever I go to a barber they butcher it with some blade and it grows out uneven. Scissor cuts are musts.

BTW, Michael - does your entire face look "bad" right now or do you actually have more acne than usual?

I've found that benzoyl peroxide actually wears out over time. It either works as a spot treatment when you're dirty, or works all over to kill acne bacteria when you're clean. Don't use BOTH salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide.

If I were you, I'd lay off the heavy acne-specific products (because I assume you're over that, right? This probably is environmental and has nothing to do with your hormones). Just use what you normally use (as long as it's mostly oil-free) and scrub or mask more often than usual. That way, at least your whole face won't look bad - only the acne-infected areas (and they'll go away on their own).

The only acne I still get are occasional bumps on my beard line (but are those razor bumps? I dunno), so I think they're shaving related. Maybe a zit here and there on the forehead. But nothing serious. I use benzoyl peroxide all around my face (not only in spots) three times a week, so I think that keeps me clear.

And I should mention - I'm still using that John Allan's stuff from a month back. The shit works.

I suspected that Benzoyl Peroxide loses its effectiveness over time, and your supposed to take a break for it to work again
But im assured that this is not the case.
Either way my skin has developed some sort of crazy resistance to spot treatments right now.
Id assume its because ive not been getting as regular showers as id like with the defunct bath and because ive been pretty tired and stressed lately.

I don't know and ive pretty much given up caring right now. Skin is skin, clearly something about being home is not agreeing with me and I just have to deal with it.

And Torri, my skin is basically alternating in breakouts, it was bad on the left side then it improved and spread to the right side, where its now improving, but its transfered and inflamed on the left side again

I've cut out the sacylic acid and im stopping using the benzoyl peroxide gel i've bought for a few days sticking to proactiv and face scrubs.

I actually feel for people who have breakouts because most of us have them from time to time and we all know how self concious and unattractive it can make you feel. I am going out for the first time since the breakout began on a big night out tomorrow

I am so fucking sick of my skin right now.
It seems like every time one breakout has faded away another one appears.
I have resorted to using every attack method i know.

Tea tree cleanser followed by proactiv toner and a GENEROUS amount of proactiv BP twice a day ended with Nivea Oxygen 15%. I have a BP gel but it's no good. Im going to head back to the pharmacy this week and see if they have any other BP products, i ordered the Daniel Kern stuff online but it'll take a while for it to arrive, ill be in the Seychelles. God knows im hoping the sun and freshness repairs my skin.

It SEEMS to have kind of stabilised in that im not getting a huge amount of new, gigantic eruptions, but there have been one or two appeared since i started the new regime - and there is nothing else i can do to make them stop. One half of my face looks like freaking shit right now. I can go and get anti-biotics but i fail to see the point because they have a lot of negative side effects, can stain your teeth permanently and actually can be more damage than good.

Skin seems like such a trivial thing to care about, and it definitely is, but it's also quite depressing to walk out with a breakout on your face. You feel diseased almost.

However, I am positive that sticking in with this regime will help kill it off, it seems to have stopped the spread of more ...touch wood. I am using massive amounts of the BP lotion. If this doesn't work then nothing will. The only ray of light is that in Carlisle my skin will improve. But ive got to meet so many new people looking like this and that is not cool. Nor is it cool to go see the family and friends again looking like this.

my younger brother sometimes rubs salt on the up-and-coming major eruptions. it seems to work for him.

The breakout seems to have stalled today after inflaming yesterday. Sleep and lots of BP looks like its kicking in. Ive been very stressed lately too which hasn't helped. But yeah, today is a better day, touch wood it's a sign of things to come as the big ones are going down and the new ones seem to not be growing too much.

So i killed Proactiv because it clearly wasn't working any more. The cleanser i swear irritates your skin. I believe your not supposed to use a topical exfoliant with bits in it. I switched to something called Daniel Kerns which is kind of a refinement of proactiv removing the toner and inserting a mosturizer at the end instead with a cleanser that isnt harsh and a more refined BP gel over the proactiv BP lotion.

I don't want to go on about my face because i tend to believe the more i stress about it the worst it gets. But right now theres definite improvement. Sure my face isn't clear again yet - but it feels like its well on its way. And from what it was this summer - its definitely looking up. No new blemishes really, well if there are, theres one every four days or so and they go pretty quick. One problem is that the current ones tend to flare up before they start to disappear - and i had a LOT this summer. So i think im getting to the last flare ups. They arent half as bad as the things i had on my face before anyway.

Im taking ibuprofen to help them stay down and reduce marks left. Also cant reccomend Aloe Vera enough.

I am fairly certain i was allergic to the Nivea Oxygen stuff. My skin suddenly errupted even worse.
But yeah. I'll report back in a few weeks! The less stuff you put on your face the better is a good ethic though.

Michaek I'm sorry u have acne problems. For someone so sexy to be bitch slaped day after day by problems you should of grown out of after puberty. Or are u still in pubity?

i think its mainly my age. The body has a way of having a hormone and testosterone imbalance right up till the early twenties and thats what causes acne. If your unlucky enough to have this continue into your late twenties onwards then id defo be using accutane. But right now a good regime and a lot of water seem to be all that works for me.

At the end of the day. Spots are spots. It can be a very confidence denting thing but at the end of the day its not the aesthetic which matters. There are much worse things that could happen. Grin and bear it is my new ethic.
