Oceans Twelve, will it be considered a big dissapointment? hope it wont, because it looks great.

In terms of the movie or box office?

BO

I don't think it's a Box office dissapointment. Sure, it didn't make as much as the original, but it still managed to make over $100 million, and possibly over $120 million.

As long as it lands a 3.0x multiplier I think I would call it a hit.

Awesome for National Treasure! Looks like it will be back in the Derby next week! It deserves the #10 spot more than Polar Express in my opinion.

Meet the Fockers is definitely going to be #1 for 2 more weeks now.

Besides what people have said, I want to add that it's great weekend for Oscar contenders. both Finding Neverland and Sideways increased 80%, and of course The Aviator starts it march to $100M by March. HOFD, AVLE, Kinsey, and Closer all did well too.

So what does everyone think, will Meet the Fockers pass the Incredibles for the Winter Box Office Champion?

Right now, I say a big yes! The winter needed a second big blockbuster.

To add on to your statement, look at that increase for Ray! Awards season indeed.

In Good Company got a $52,000 PTA. Not sure if that's really good or bad anymore. Seems like all movies that get really high PTAs in their first weekend all dissapoint in wide release. I Heart Huckabees being the main example of course, with Life Aquatic as a slight dissapointment. So glad I am that Lemony Snicket is blow pass $100M, that 58% drop last week scared me.

NO! It will tumble 90% 5th weekend and just die a horrible death before it passes TI.

I don't know what to say. Wow, it was just an amazing weekend, really, for all movies. Hopefully the drops next weekend won't be all too steep.

I am in particular amazed about National Treasure's increase. The Polar Express is doing well too, considering that Christmas is over. Both movies will hit $165 million, I think.

Meet the Fockers has just a flabbergasting run so far. It might hit $200 million as soon as next weekend. I did some calculations and it looks like Meet the Fockers has a good chance to end up with $270+ million in total. Incredible. I am certain, there will be another sequel now...

Your flabbergasted?? :? I'm flabbergasted at how moviegoers continued to pump $$$ into Lemony Snicket for the mere sake of feeling compelled to do so cause it was a holiday... The movie was a piece of shit and in no way "Laugh out loud funny" like the commercials say it was.. :?

Lemony Snickets was much better than any of the Star Wars prequels that you rave about all the time.

And just for the record its doing much better than AVP did in its entire run.
