Right now I would have to say Paramount (Mean Girls, and Lemony Snickets), and Sony (The Grudge, and Spider-Man). It will probably change in a few months.

Alot of that had to do with how blown away I was by the music, the visuals, and Rossum.

When I think of Phantom, I think of Garden State. Not because of type of movie or anything like that, but because of how it made me feel. I left the theater just in awe of what I had seen, totally blown away by something completly unexpected.

I guess I just wasn't ready for what walked into, and while the movie itself may not be one of the best I have ever seen, I loved it even more because of that.

With Garden State there were obvious flaws in the movie, things that could bother people but that I just embraced. I connected so well with all the characters, and could have cared less about the bad parts. I just loved that movie.

With Phantom I was in awe the entire movie. The music amazed me, it is not something would normaly listen to, yet I was completly captivated by it. I mean for the first half hour the music just sent shivers through my body, it was unreal - like nothing I have ever experienced. Then after that the movie took over, such a great story, one thats been around forever. Reinforce that with the amazing visuals and sets and so many extras doing this that and the next thing, it was just a sight to see. I was completly enthralled throughout. Yes I know some of the humor, and a fw other points were sub par, but I could care less, they never bothered me, and just make me embrace the movie all the more.

Some movies are like the bell at the end of The Polar Express. It is your loss if you can't hear them ring

If I were a film producer I would pick only the following studios:

- 20th Century Fox
- Warner Bros. / HBO
- Walt Disney
- Paramount

Well, so far I've liked Lion's Gate Films, but that is simply because they release films that most other studios won't.

Of the major studios it would probably be DreamWorks SKG.

The onyl studio which I can safely is is Pixar. Every other studio seems to be hit or miss. Except maybe New Line. Even their bad films are good.

New Line (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Freddy vs Jason, Blade's, Final Destinations), Sony (Grudge!), Dreamworks (Ring, Shrek), Lions Gate (Saw, Cabin fever, Open Water) and Paramount (TITANIC)

Also a hint of dimension (HALLOWEEN, SCREAM's)

Basically, i'm a studio sleep around. lol.

Ew. If I were a producer I would go to Universal, Fox, or Focus. Never Paramount. Horrid advertising.

erm...

Focus for the past two-years (Motorcycle Diaries, Lost in Translation, 21 Grams, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shaun of the Dead, and The Pianist)

and DreamWorks (American Beauty, Minority Report, Road to Perdition, Shrek, Catch Me If You Can, Anchorman, Collateral, and The Terminal)

and I guess FOX/FOX Searchlight, even though I hate the politics (Garden State, Napoleon Dynamite, I Heart Huckabees, Man on Fire, The Girl Next Door)

Fine Line, Fox Searchlight, Focus, but of the majors, I think Universal.

What, no love for Miramax? Think of all the Oscars they have!

j/k :D

Overall studio, probably Pixar. But New Line will occasionally greenlight something with potential. :P
