It's ridiculous to think that everyone should only post here, but Maverikk is doing that over there.

The fact of the matter is that Maverikk wasn't liked by a few people here, but there's just as many (if not more) who talked to him all the time when he posts, and didn't shun him. I feel like I did something wrong, but I didn't, and many others didn't. If we're going to say that we should all be able to post at multiple places ('cept me, being banned for good reasons and all at Mojo), then he should do the same.

I think he's better than the "If I'm goin' down, I'm takin' you all with me" attitude.

I can't imagine anything someone says at BOM forums hurting wokj. I also have long assumed most people here post at more than one site to varying degrees. Even Eagle worked recently at a rival movie website so it doesn't seem a big deal for people to post at another one.

I just find some of the reactions hillarious.

It's a website people. Stop proclaiming all about "the memories" and "those were the days". Maybe because I never joined BOM it just makes it all so much funnier to me. I mean, yeah, I was part of another forum in those days but I posted all over the place. It is not like I only post at one site and that's it.

Completley agree, I don't get the point of "restricting yourself" to one website and being loyal to it only, I mean the more discussion the better, what's the point of pulling a shun like that?

Hell I friggin run BOF, and still remain one of the more active posters here... that pretty much makes me a loser to have that much time heh, but whatever.

On an unrelated note, I've just remembered a story from my childhood.

Once when my sister and I were both very young, my sister (who, I think, was eleven or twelve at the time) threw a hissy fit at my mum for one reason or another (I forget the specifics). After crying and yelling for a while, she decided to get back at our mum by calling our dad (who she knew mum hated) and asking if she could move in with him. So our dad came over, picked up my sister and her luggage, and took her to live at his house.

Barely two weeks later, she was on the phone to mum in tears. See, what my sister failed to take into account on her little spite mission, was that our dad was far less likely to put up with her shit than our mum. So, after 14 days of stern discipline, crummy food and company, she realised the error of her ways and begged to come back home.

And the moral of the story? That sister... was me!

Anyway, Mav has stated with absolute certainty that he will NOT be coming back to KJ. It is all about choices. Some people chose to publicly humiliate him and consequently he has chosen to forego KJ.

Well I had a little chat with Mav.. He's very adamant about leaving here and not returning. He does want his account deleted so its a go on that one... He wants to move on and would prefer that certain members just leave him be (you know who you are). So I suppose the book is closed on this.

Well Mav has to do what makes him happy. If he enjoys the posters on BOM more then thats the place for him, relations with the other posters is more importent then the URL of the site wherever that may be.

It is WoKJ policy not to delete any accounts. The reason for that is it screws up the entire database. If Maverikk wishes his comments be unseen, he is more than welcome to log in and delete their contents manually.

People here are funny. Someone can chose to go where ever makes them feel most comfortable. I am not surprised, as Mav does not feel comfortable here, that he went elsewhere. I am surprised he went to bOM, since i remember him saying he was not treated well there several times. I would have guessed he would join a completely not related to his past web site, and start a fresh. But if he feels comfortable at boM after what he said happened to him there, more power to him. And if at one point he isn't happy there, he has every right to go somewhere else that makes him happy.

That is the internet, its one of the perks of having so many options. You can go wherever you like that makes you feel good. Am i surprised at the eventual choice? Yes. Am I surprised that someone would relocate after being temp-banned? Not at all.

Everyone just have fun and watch more Italian movies, that's my two cents.
