This would be my favorite U.S. Open if Agassi could somehow manage to win it.

Amazing!
It's crazy that one of the best matches of the year came in a second round of the US Open, but I love it. Even if Agassi goes down unremarkably in the next couple matches, this one will be what defines his send-off. Definitley one of my favorite matches ever, whoo.

That match was painful to watch. I felt so bad for Agassi. He really isn't looking so good.
The match should have gone to 5. Agassi had it, and let it slip away.

So the last 4 women are set... Mauresmo, Henin, Sharapova, Jankovic. Sharapova is great at getting to this point every year, but her game is doesn't have enough depth to get any farther, it's no coincidence that she loses every semi. Her gameplan is basically to belt it out from the baseline, and that works fine against all the weaker opponents, but in crunchtime you need a bit more smarts and finesse to close these majors off. Good luck trying to beat Mauresmo or Henin with that style, they just pick her apart.

Roddick is completely rolling over Hewitt right now. Looks like it might be over in straight sets.
Federer/Blake tomorrow will be great.

I'm kind of glad that TSN isn't carrying it tomorrow and I'll have to watch it on RDS. I won't be able to understand what the commentators are saying, which is always a plus when an American is playing.

N. Davydenko [7] d. T. Haas [14] 4-6 6-7 6-3 6-4 6-4
He had to save two break points while serving for the match for a second time at 5-4 in the fifth. Congrats.

Choke choke choke! Brutal Jankovic, brutal. While I feel a bit sorry for her, Henin just happens to be my favorite female player, so I can't say I'm not happy.
Nice to see Sharapova finally making a finals, she still needs to add layers to her game big time, and I generally don't like her, but I'm glad she at least she got over that semifinal hump. Mauresomo played bad though, and she never took advantage of Maria and her predictable style, she just played into that game, which was the wrong thing to do. She didn't volley or play short finesse and delicate shots at all today, which is exactly how you beat Sharapova.
Was a bizarre day in tennis overall, I have to say. Can't wait for tomorrow.

You really have to post more.
Roddick finally decided to stop sucking, he'll resume sucking when he plays Federer.

Men's final is set, Federer vs. Roddick. Federer cruised past Davydenko - I didn't watch it - and Roddick got by Youzhny, who played pretty well, but couldn't overcome Roddick's serve, and made a lot of unforced errors.
The commentators mentioned something during the game; that this is the first year ever in the Open era that a man and a woman each made it to all four Grand Slam finals: Henin-Hardenne and Federer have both done it. They should also both be able to win their respective matches.

Important match for both players, for Henin it would cement her status at the top female player, as the 2 majors and 4 finals would put her above anyone else this year, and a victory would also give her the #1 ranking. For Sharapova, it'll prove she can win another major after the 04 Wimbledon, that she's gonna stick around as a champion for a while, and that she can hang in there with Mauresmo and Henin.
I think it'll be Henin, pretty easily. Maria has too much nerves problems still, and Justine is tough as shit mentally.
