Saw Predictions - $55,185,045 - Zingaling wins total gross!
Well, I have seen this movie and the only thing I can say about it, is that it is amazing. However, I am not sure if it will get broader audiences, as the content of the movie is very gruesome and gritty. However, the Halloween weekend will definitely help its opening weekend and the marketing so far has been nothing short of amazing. Especially the first teaser trailers were very well-made and impressive.
I am negatively surprised that this one is only opening in ~1800 theatres, though. I hope the final number will be higher.

Very low theater count. Hopefully, it'll be over 2,000 by the time it comes out in theaters. Here's my prediction with 1,800 theaters.
Opening- $14.4 million
Total- $40.3 million

I have a feeling it will be released in over 2000 theatres. Until then, though:
Opening: $13.5 million
Total: $40 million

Unforntunately I've seen next to nothing as far as advertisement goes, so I hope it doesn't pull a "Suspect Zero"
Right now I say:
8.1m opening
37m TBO

The simple picture internet ads (like at Yahoo movies) for it don't look to good for it, but I need to see some commercials.
Opening: $8.9
Total: $36.5

No way. I see a harder fall than usual. Halloween has proven to be a slow day for all movie theaters. Especially last year, when it was on Friday. Though Sunday is not as bad, a lot of people go out. That puts a dent in the halloween-horror movies.

Actually, as far as I know, horror movies usually have a HUGE increase on Halloween, no matter what day it is.

I hate to say it, but I feel this will disappoint. It's a brilliant movie, but almost too brilliant.

Well i'v seen SAW twice now....And it rocks.
here In the UK, SAW has been released for 3 weeks now! haha!
And it's second week drop was 12%, then it's 3rd was 15% so the legs over here are phenomenal!
SAW will gross over $12M in the UK alone....it's already on $8.5M.
For US:
$10M/$36M
