Man's Deadliest Tool of Torture: Braces
Yes, maybe I'm over-exaggerating just a little. But I hate them. I've had them for about 3 months now, and I can't stand them. Maybe more the things they do with the braces than the actual braces themselves. I just got on those rubber band things, and they're by far the most annoying things ever.
Anyone have any interesting or painful experiences with braces?

I have braces... and I have had them for 4 years now, I think. Gawd they suck. One thing people mostly complain about is getting them tightened which isn't really a big deal at all.
I do have to agree on the rubber bands though. They are the foulest things ever. I almost never wear them... even though I should 3 times a day.
Here's to me getting them off next year!

My teeth are near-perfect.
I had braces for, like, 15-20 months. Around a year and a half.

Never had braces. But one of my friends in 8th grade did, and we used to take the rubber bands and braid my hair into tiny braids in English class and close it with the braces elastics. My my twin said I looked like a greasy mop, and my bf said it was horrible and shaved his head in return. We were the ugliest 13 year old couple ever.

I had them for 8 month and then they had to take them off because it was messing my teeth up andf just making them worse. it helped somewhat.

I had them for a little bit. I hated them but I didn't need them that much. Only had it for about a year.

I had braces back when I was 12-13 years old. They weren't bad in comparison to the headgear my orthodontist tried to make me wear.
Sure, it looked cool, and I could pick up radio signals in my mouth when I wore it, but it was kind of a chick repellent. Girls are so picky at that age.

Braces made my years as a teenage runaway even more difficult.
It's very hard to give head wearing braces.

Stay away from tony. When he was my pimp, he made me pleasure him and his dog instead of my tricks. He is bad news...plus he is MAJOR obsessed with the PS2
In all honesty thought giving head with braces teachs you the most important part of life.
slow and steady,.slow and steady

The worst thing was that loyal would get pubic hair stuck in the braces. Everytime he smiled he looked like he had a full mustache and beard (mixed in with weiner slices). It was very disturbing, and very hard to "market" him that way. I had to do a lot of creative advertising to the clients. He gives "fuzzy kisses" usually worked.

Same here - my teeth are near-perfect now - but I had to 'suffer' about 3-4 years...
God, I hated those braces... :x
