I thought the awards were great. I thought there would be more people to participate though. I am very appreciative of Rod and everything he did for the awards. THe pre show part was a success as well as the actual award ceremony.
Hopefully next time we do this, there will be more nominations, which in turn means more posters peaking their head in, and an overall bigger awards ceremony. I was sad not to see Ripper or Krem there.
I think torrino, dolce and zing got snubbed a few things.

Overall the winners are spreaded out, but agreed that Zing and torrino deserve to win something. darth pimp too. Dolce deserves to win one or two more.
A great effort all-around.

Oh yeah one last thing, i've thanked the organizers, ive congratulated the winners.
And while I dont think anything sohuld be "taken away" from those winners...they deserved their wins...I think its also worth remembering those posters that were nominated and didn't win (box, Ross, etc) You're all great. You know we love you just the same, right?
As well as those posters who weren't nominated but contribute a lot to the forums. Attodr, Raffiki, Chris and loyal (were they nominated) I can't name them all cause I'd end up going through half o the meberlist, but just about every psoter here contributes a great deal to the forums, and I, and I know most most others appreciate that.

I tell you what. This award show was very successful in terms of participation. We have less than 300 posters here, I think. Yet we got 56 ballots in the winners round.
BOM has thousands of posters, yet when I counted the votes there for the first time (June 2003), we received less than 50 ballots...
