I agree, arsi. I do want them to keep posting here, because it gives us time to focus on the website more than the forums over there right now, but the forums are always there for anybody that wants to come early from BOM or KJ's, but the website is our focus, because we are looking much further than getting former and present BOM members as our only resource. I have noticed some cut throat antics by somebody that I figured wasn't so classless, but I'll keep my comments about that to myself.

Reality: This is a fan forum, made up of exiled members from another forum. How high is the ceiling for that kinda thing? Not very high. How much appeal is coming to a forum, with limited resources at the site? I wish nothing but success to this forum, and I post here too. It's cool knowing so many people, and starting over somewhere new without that would probably suck.


In a nutshell, I think both sites should be supported, and I have done my best to get over here too. Keep your eyes peeled for some big things that will soon not only be announced, but displayed at the site. I hope everyone understands that I'm not doing any of this stuff with the other website to derail your attempts here, but there are realities to the situations that both sites are in, and I'll be doing my best so that the potential at the other website is realized, and that you guys can all have a website AND a forum to call home, and never have to worry about it burning to the ground before your eyes like BOM did. :wink:

In the meantime, and in the furture, keep enjoying this great place!

Mav, sometimes all you need is great members. Eagle will be adding things to the front page, but, in the mean time, we're focusing on organizing the forum and ensuring success for at least a year (instead of a month, heh). Right now, we've been doing better and better by the day (not to mention, tracking better than BOM!), so, I'm not TOO worried.

as usual, I will keep up my efforts at both ends. I have one or two leads on how to get this site promoted (and hopefully, I can use the same leads for movie-fever as well). I will have more details at a later date.

I agree. This is probably the quickest i've ever seen a forum explode, and I think we're doing great. More and more people are coming over here from BOM, so if we end up with nearly everyone that used to post there, I don't see anyway this place could fail.

Tomorrow I'll start inviting people from other forums to the place. It will have great diversity.

I can't understand why you can't access it. Maybe it's the browser you're using. Keep trying, because being an original member is so cool, and you'll never be able to boast about it if that registration date is too far from when the forums opened.
