Meh. He voilated the rules, he knows he is not allowed to attack a member the way he did. His rebuttle to Scott was equaly disturbing. If he has a problem with someone that is fine, but he can keep vulgar language out of it. Personal attacks are against the rules.

And about un banning him early, well, he has to email me, or have one of his close friends to, appologize to me, and about his behavior. If he does, then let's see what I can do.

Ban seems fine, just not sure what's the problem with questioning m/a and what they do. If one feels they need to be questioned about something this is fine place for that, and guess if he/she is wrong, it'll be cleared here.

Because when Maverikk does it, he does it specifically to create a rift between mods and admins that can be later abused by him.

Special Treament = Bad Idea, its totally undermines the rule.

Then, we can have, can I be banned next since I'll be on vacation anyway requests. The whoel opint of a temp banning is to get allow a cool off period when there is an issue, not a week later.

I agree with Ripper. No matter what, in any situation, special treatment does not look good. And a lot of people complain that Mav gets special treatment. That statement does NOT reflect my own personal views, it's just what I have gathered from past experiences.

My point being, Mav is a great contributer to the oscar forums. Is it really fair to penalize him and the forum for using a word that many have used as well?

btw, i have no idea why I'm even suggesting this. I don't think I've ever interacted with him one on one ever in here or at BOM.

Maverikk violated a rule knowing what the consequences would be. In fact, Scott only gave Mav a warning until Mav decided to act like a tough guy and PM Scott with a big "fuck you and this place."

Hopefully, he'll come back with a better attitude towards the members and the mod team, because frankly, I'm kinda getting tired of dealing with it, and I don't even have it half as bad as the admins do...
