First, you predict the openers for the weekend, which would be Blade: Trinity and Ocean's Twelve. Then for the whole week, we all argue about how big or small Ocean's Twelve will actually be. Then on Wednesday, everyone will be giving what they think about Blade: Trinity's 3-day or 5-day gross. Then on Thursday night or Friday, people will be submitting their final predictions.
Simple enough, eh?

Dr. Lecter you are so funny,
I was thinking of the same thing.
I was going to predict the weather.
Get it, all he said was predictions.

1. Ocean's Twelve - $53 million (crappy marketing prevent it from $60+ million opening)
2. Blade: Trinity - $23.7 million (3-day) (should have been a lot bigger but seems like New Line is semi-burying it by opening it during this time)
3. National Treasure - $10.2 million
4. The Polar Express - $7.9 million
5. Christmas with the Kranks - $7.5 million
6. The Incredibles - $5.7 million
7. The Spongebob Squarepants Movie - $4.2 million
8. Closer - $4 million (horrible WOM=big drop despite expansion)
9. Finding Neverland - $2.3 million
10. Alexander - $1.5 million (very typical huge drop; see Solaris, The Missing or Timeline's drop)

This article says that Closer got a D+ for CinemaScore. It might not have that big of an increase next weekend.

I'm less and less faithful now about Ocean's Twelve. But, I know I'll kick myself if it turns out to be as big as I once said.
