If there is one thing you will have to learn as an admin is that you can not do selective enforcement. If you erase something that bothers you, you will be SWAMPED with requests to delete other things that bother others. It won't work... trust me. If it bothers you, just ask... since it's not against the rules a formal request would have been the right thing to do.

Okay, maybe I did go to far. I will ask next time instead of just doing it.
Okay.

Incidentally, I've been looking for a way for users to be able to block avatars on a per-user basis earlier today.
I think it would be the best solution, and I believe it can be implemented.
Stay tuned...

Scott,
I am speaking for myself here ... and as you know I stepped down ... so this has no official merit whatsoever.
However, I feel I need to explain something to you.
When given the position of admin, you are asked to run the forum. Run it the way the owners intended, make sure everyone follows the rules. You can make rule adjustments, but those should be done in coordination with other admins/moderators and most assuredly ... the owners (arsi).
To outright decide that because you do not like bubbles, bubbles are no longer allowed, is simply not how it works.
Their is a function in Mozzilla to block images from a specific site. I suggest you do the following.
1) re-instate the avatar
2) pm the person, in this case masonmyers, and explain your issue to him. Tell him that he in no way HAS to take it down, but because of your condition, you would greatly appreciate if he does.
3) if he doesn't take it down, block the image on your computer.
You are asked to do a job. You are not a dictator, and you have no right to arbitrairly make rules. The rules of this forum are well thought out. Please review them. If in the future you want to make changes, consult others first!
My 2 cents.

Didn't Krem say he can get something that can block images from your computer?
Anyway, so you don't like me as admin huh? Anything I can do to get your approval rating.

Apparently, "I" have to get a new avatar.
It's not even big.
I'll change it, but I think this is bullshit. Autistic or not.

Also, what's up with closing that "What celebrity you wish to die"-thread? Obviously, I am not particulary fond of it either, as I expressed in the thread, but closing it just like that (with worse threads before) seems like an overreaction. In the end, all in good humor, no?

No bubbles or wishing elderly celebrities to die? My whole repertoire has been destroyed.

OK it's become pretty clear that Scott is not tempermentally suited to being a moderator. I'm sure Scott is a fine guy but not everyone is suited for every job. Time for Mr X to step up to bat as a replacement, methinks.

Just give me time. There are still some things around here I still have to get used too, like people skills.
