A bit late to the party, but here's my take on Sunday's episode:
Another quality episode tonight, should I expect anything else? I'm glad that Susan had the opportunity to tell Mrs. Huber off, what she was doing to Susan was so boring. The only downside to the resolution was that Susan had to give up alone time with Mike, and sacrifice him To Edie. Susan is that one character in a show that is very easy to like, but gets very few little happy moments for herself. Even when she does have something good going on her life something else always come up to screw her over - like Dawson from DC. Except unlike Dawson from the Creek I don't want to take a baseball bat to Susan's face (anger issues, I am aware)
Not too much going on with Gabrielle except she's still having sex with John and that Carlos thought she was doing it with the cable guy and proceeded to beat him up only to feel bad after he finds out the Cable guy is gay. Over at the Young house the only thing we learn is that the Wives tell Paul about the note and he gets a professional on the case.
The brief moments with Lynette further reveal that her children are infused with the spirit of Satan. Multiple people suggest drugs are the way to go, but Lynette ultimately decides against it. Personally I thought multiple clubbings to the back of their heads would do the trick - much more powerful than drugs. But then there's that whole "abuse" word that everyone kicks up these days....
Bree continues to bring the funny, this episode was with her kids since Rex is apparently still shacked up in the motel 6, or a van down by the river. Her kids find out the truth behind their parents relationship woes, and her son takes it rather harshly. I think his name is Adam but I really could care less. The crux of that plotline is that Adam runs out and Bree tracks him down to a strip club with his friends. Bree casually orders a drink and sits down to watch a stripper, probably named Crystal who wore clear heels as a child, do her stuff. Sadly they don't stay for the encore as Bree's lecture bothers a nice man who just wants to drool in peace.
Time spent unravelling the mystery was relegated to the first 5 minutes and the last. We learn that Mary Alice was dreaming about a girl standing in the river who told her she would die in 7 days, well I made that last part up - but it's still creepy. Paul says Mary Alice used to write notes to herself and tries to convince the DH that she was the one who probably wrote the mystery letter, they aren't buying it. As the episode closes on Wisteria Lane a voice from beyond the grave informs the viewer that someone on Wisteria Lane wrote that letter, but who Mary Alice? WHO??

The only place I know her from is that she was the original mother of Christopher Titus on the TV show "Titus", but I doubt you remember her from there.

She was in Spider Man 2 and The Usual Suspects. They always say that a character actor is someone who you remember their face but usually not their name.

Yet another great episode tonight. FINALLY, Susan and Mike are getting together! And Zach is so weird... it appeared like maybe he was trying to replace the role of his mother with Bree.
And I loved it when Lynette had her kids did all that stuff so they'd be calm when they went to the new school for a review. This is so my favorite show right now.

What can I say? This show has a great episode every week
I think I might actually love it more than Lost.

If ABC gave me a choice between Lost and Housewives, I'd never be able to choose. I love all the characters. They have their own unique traits. Eva Longoria is so fun to watch. She is innocent, guilty, hilarious, and serious, all in one. Plus, I love Marcia Cross. I HATED her on the little of Melrose Place that I saw, but she's great here. Ah, I love 'em all.

any guesses as to what the guy's secret is? The guy that Hatcher is interested in, I mean, who met the older man in the park.
Spy? Mafia? DEA agent? Terrorist? Con man? Bank robber?

I'm thinking that he might be a person who spies on rich ppl and then blackmails them.
I got this impression b/c the old man he met with said something like "Everyone has a secret, find it" type of thing.

Last week I hated Mama Solis, this week I hate Gabrielle. I'm all for one upping the other person, but exploiting a gambling addiction - that's a bit much. I'm glad that it came back to hurt her. All that for what? So she can have sex with Miguel, a card carrying member of the abstinence club? Her comuppence will be satsifying.
Susan isn't interesting without Mike and her using Julie to get to Zack was unsettling. Bree continues to be the best character on the show, Lynette had the line of the night regarding not mixing Crack and Ritalin and her battling Maisy was great television.
One bad thing: 2 weeks until another new episode! Damn you AMA's, or whatever they are.

New episode (finally) tonight
I read some interview stating that a major character (excluding the four leads) would be offed in an episode to air mid-to-late November, so look for that to happen either tonight or next week

That may have been my favourite episode from a mystery stand point. I didn't see that car accident happening, and apparently neither did Mama Solis - Hiyo!
Bree continues to be my favourite character, even when she's throwing her kids out of the house she's fantastic. Dividing their stuff into quadrants was so Bree. They should also let Julie speak more, I like Susan the most when she's talking to her daughter.
Lynette's addiction might get old soon but I liked seeing her without her kids. Oh the coming weeks are going to be good, I didn't expect Adam to have been the driver, that's quite the twist.

If it's one of the mainsto go then I would guess the Nicolette Sheridan character as she seems to have the least to do on the show of the main 5.
I haven't seen tonights episode yet, taped it for later.

Edee (sp?)... I thought so too, but its too convienient? I think so at least. I'm leaning elsewhere...

This is just TOO GOOD.
Great episode!
REally looking forward to next week's episode.
IT would make sense if Edee was the one to go (I like her and her rivalry with Susan though!), but I have a feeling it might not. Maybe it's somewhat misleading advertising and its Mama Solis to go?
