Watching Dogville was like an endurance contest. It was truly a painful experience.

There is something wrong with Nicole Kidman that I can't quite put my finger on... nor would she ever permit it, to be sure.

Ever since Eyes Wide Shut, it became obvious that she was a bit of a nutjob. Is it any wonder Tom took a powder?

But the Dogville ordeal was more than just a Nicole thing. It reminded me of why I hate watching stage productions so much... especially Thornton Wilder, which this script reminded me of.

It's not a movie for everyone, and the material is by no means easy to dgiest.

But I thought it was a masterpiece despite that tough material, and above all I thought the acting was superb.

IT's a very metaphorical film, but it worked 100% for me (well I wiush it hadn't left me feeling so bitter about humanity... but the same happened with Mystic River, In the Bedroom and such movies...)

Well, I'd probably take my lord of the rings poster with me, and then my Jenny mcCarthy poster for fun.

I'd probably pick Ahmed Johnson and BKB. Let's see how they would react together.
