Xiayun is starting to take a commanding lead in the yearly race, although with eight consecutive top-27 finishes I can't really complain about my recent performance.

Jeff, you have definitely been consistenly great recently. The yearly race is still a long way to go. 100 points difference can evaporate within a month if not faster.

The problem is, people will just skip hard weeks, and do all the easy weeks, and keep a high average. I hate that so much. Like OSHO does that, and he thinks he is so good.
The current limits are you had to have played at least 10 games and 1 in the last 3 weeks in order to be listed on the all-time lists. I think those should be raised now. People should have to play at least 20 games to prove yourself, and having played at least 2 or 3 games in a row or something, so a hard week cannot simply be skipped.
PEACE, Mike.

I agree MikeQ, totally! I hate my all-time ranking dipping even though I've been rising in accuracy. Hell, at this rate 82% alltime accuracy would be out of the top 20

That's true, and I like to see the limit raised as well. The problem with radja and betaman is actually not their fault. They did predict every weekend; they just happen to start at an easy juncture of the season. Also, all of us are getting better, so even though radja had a 83.75% average in the last 10 weeks, his average ranking is only 118.1, but the scores we had in the past dragged us a little bit, something they don't have to deal with.

Oh, this weekend looks to be another high scoring one. With Supercross opening on Wednesday, it killed a potential derby killer since derby isn't going to move the deadline up for such an insignificant movie. Both Red Eyes and 40-Year Old Virgin have a lot more upside potential than downside, reducing the effect of overpredictions. And I have a feeling that Valiant will open right in the 10M average range, not a bomb or surprise.

Yeah, that really sucks about Supercross. I was hoping to be able to take advantage of that derby killer.
PEACE, Mike.

#193, with an accuracy of 78.68%.
I'm losing it big time, and predicting on Monday didn't help either.

I got 162nd this week, 79 point some percent. I really butchered the newcomers scores, 55% for those, otherwise I would've been fine...

Congrats xiayun! You are the new Ragnarok.
I can't believe I got 8th. I thought for sure since I screwed up both Valiant and Red Eye I'd be lower. Pretty cool.
PEACE, Mike.

I'm down to #4 now on the yearly chart after being #2 for 3 weeks...
Good job xiayun, Scott V, and Jeff 42 for doing so good so consistently. I used to be consistent until August started.

My final predictions/what I put in the derby:
1. 40 Year Old Virgin-15.9
2. Brothers Grimm-15.1
3. Red Eye-9.4
4. Four Brothers-7.3
5. Wedding Crashers-6.0
6. The Cave-5.9
7. March of the Penguins-5.7
8. Valiant-4.1
9. Skeleton Key-4.0
10. Undiscovered-1.8
I might actually do good this week. My new releases predictions are looking to be nice and on. I upped Cave at the last moment though, that was a slight mistake.
