Well, Eagle, I'm going to clear this up for those who only have this version to go by.

First, I think it was very inappropriate of you, an administrator, to start a thread bitching about certain members, and laying the blame for your discontent at their feet, but that was nowhere as inappropriate as the exaggerations you aimed at me. I'm not going to drag your values or character into this, I'll just say to be more responsible in the future with what you post, especially when defending your buddies at the forum. Those kinds of biases being shown are exactly why some people here aren't really happy.

Karl, you're generally a good guy, too, but you do show you bias toward members. Again, you obviously have trouble letting go, something you acted like was a serious problem with me, if you're longing for the days you've lost. Also, I think it's pretty sad that you are blaming me for the quarrels so absolutely like that, but you do have a habit of showing favoritism toward your friends, and that is your biggest flaw as a site administrator, but that's also your choice to do.



Ok, this pissed me off. Tony left because of his own issues. He was asked nicely in private to keep his nose out of things, and to quit jumping in, berating my character, and going on as if it was his mission in life to police my actions and reactions. Tony agreed, as the PM I posted showed, that he shouldn't do that, as he knows it only causes trouble. He did it again anyway. I fired back, but only after I went to both baumer and bABA about it first, and since they couldn't reason with him, I posted that PM, and it showed how he wasn't really interested in anything but stirring the shit. His PM claimed that he wanted the strife to end, when it did, he decided to try to create more, and then blame it on me. I'm guessing this "power" he claimed that I had, was because he was told that his behavior was wrong, and he couldn't deal with that, so he ran off. That's not my fault. Would it have happened if he would have honored his word and controlled himself? I think we all know that Tony brought that on himself, and had that been me who ran off crying, you would not be blaming him, but would be blaming me for taking stuff too personal, so please, stop with the biases.

When I asked you privately what you meant by "some of the members we lost", you couldn't answer me with anything but "Do I count". I really don't think it's fair for you to make up stories about me chasing away multiple members because you're upset because Tony, your buddy, left the forums because of a lack of self control that blew up in his face. I don't hate Tony. I don't hate anybody here. Tony got carried away, and now he's taking things way too seriously if he's going to pout like that, and I'm not apologizing for that. That's his problem. He needs to deal with it, and whiping his ass and kissing his booboo isn't going to help him in that regard.

I haven't even been around, and the last thing I needed to hear about, was a thread from the administrator bitching about me and stretching the story. The reason that I haven't been around, is the same that you started this thread, because it's really not that much fun here, and other things are way more rewarding in life than your forum is, even spare time stuff. I just haven't had anything to say, and haven't had a desire to read the forums. I haven't felt empty because of it, either. I am not the only person telling you that, so it's not just the ramblings of Maverikk, even though you lumped us in like we have the problem. I understand why Timmy and Cynthia don't feel the sense of community here like they did at BOM. I don't, either. I'm sure many others don't. Many feel more of one. Nobody's right or wrong, I guess, but that stuff isn't anything you can do anything about. The thing you can do something about, is posting these kinds of threads singling out members, and showing bias against them, even to the point of stretching the story, even if it was somehow unintentional.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get back to what I was doing before this thread was brought to my attention, and that's quietly slipping away. I hope you get it all worked out, but you're never going to be able to please everyone, so don't try. Just stay away from the drama at the forums whenever you can, and by all means, never create it.

Look Eagle, the bottom line is that no one has forced you into keeping this forum open. I don't mean that to sound like it does (harsh isn't quite the word, nor is abrupt, but I figure you know what I mean). But, because you do, I appreciate it greatly, and I know many others do. It's a bit sad to hear the adminstrator of this forum hates coming here, when someone like myself actually looks forward to coming here every single day.

I don't know if I personally make this forum a bit more intolerable for you, if it's just a few people you mentioned, or all of us as a group that makes you hate coming here. But you have to come up with more than listing problems. You also have to tell us what to do. Don't be lenient. You have to take action, as well. We appreciate you being patient with us, and giving us everything you can give, but you also have to tell us how to improve ourselves so we can improve this forum. Listing problems only makes people like Maverikk lash out and only toss fuel onto an already raging fire.

As for people that aren't satisfied with this place because they love BOM more... that's idiotic. Yes, BOM was a fun place at one time for me, and it still is a fun place for some people. But, aside from the fact that the majority of the users here came from BOM, this site and this forum is in no way related to BOM. That's like going up to some random forum somewhere and saying to them "This is nothing like BOM! ". They wouldn't give a shit. This ISN'T BOM, this is the World of KJ. It's fine to compare it to other forums, but this is meant to be a forum itself, not a new home for old BOM. It just happens most of us come from there, but this isn't meant to be BOM 2.

That's a lot of random shit I threw together, so if none of it makes sense, please ignore it. It's just a bit frustrating to see you in the position you're in, Eagle.

I know it's hard sometimes, and it must be even harder for you, who invests so much time and energy, only to have to deal with the crap, but I'm sure the good outweighs the bad for you. Are you hoping that this thread made a difference? Do others think so?
Maybe, you should lay out ney rules and guidelines.
If you are still quite unhappy... you have to really look and search deep at why this isn't working for you; if it's really the people or if you just don't care for it anymore. I'm wondering if it's possible to pass on the regulation of the site to another person (I don't know how sites work exactly) and if there's someone willing, maybe you could just let go of so much responsibility.

You can't keep up and run something that you are starting to loathe, you know down the line if you don't do something about it, it will build up and explode.
