Sounds like you are timing out dolce.
Are you on 56k? Does this ever happen on other sites and not just here? What sections are the sections that are unable to load.

tell me if you can see this in your mind right:
I use explorer, and when a page doesn't show, it has the little e symbol, etc. Once inawhile I'll go to the front page of the main site, and the page WILL download and open, but you know how your design is set up as a "box within a box" right now? Well, within the box, where there is a compartment for the newest upload on top, and then another compartment to the left that has info on new links, etc. The lower comprtment to the right will be a mini version of that same "e" page cannot be found image.
Uh, does that make sense? Like, the forums go down but not the main site, and it still shows up on the main site being down with that "e" image.

Sounds to me like the MSQL database had to many connections at one time, and refused you.
Nothing to worry about.

Nothing to worry about. I'm not worried. But if its a traffic issue, and you're expecting more traffic (especially in winter when more big movies come out, and oscars) than will it be a problem?

No, not particuarly. The server was just likely jamed at that particular moment. Servers get caught occasionally.
