It's great to hear people making up, but this situation just seems odd to me. The moral of the story seems to be that you can be rude for months, and then just suddenly have a change of heart and everything is great - and you can repeat the pattern for years.

Personally, I would still like an apology for the outright lie from Mav, and he'll have to prove to me that he sincerely wants to be a productive member - that doesn't constantly attack the fine people that run this site - before I could ever trust or respect him again.

I say the proof is in the actions, and simply just saying you're taking a 180 degree turn isn't quite good enough. It was a great start to hear him admit that he was "stupid", but I'm still cautious just from past experience.

Also to me this is a breakthrough on some of the big things that most people in this thread have been missing.

- How people in general talk to each other.
- How people go over the line with inappropiate talk - just read through this thread and you can see by the comments by the posters that there are about 10 people that should be under the same type of watch that I am under daily by the MODS.
- There is nothing wrong with cliques, people have a right to talk to who they want, but it is wrong to gang up on people, allow that to happen or for the site to show favoritism.
- On Eagle's question about the Mods - I would think that the MODS job when acting as a MOD are there to maintain order and report back.
- And about when the MODS are posting - if they are posting then the way that they post and the language that they use should fall into the rules as what is acceptable posting language for any user.

Simply, everyone posting style and language should contain limits and should be monitored with limits. Anyone ever here of the legal concept Blind Justice.

Goldie, what he said to you is nothing I haven't been told before. Sometimes, you have to listen, and you might find that you need to make changes. I'm not specifically referring to you either. That goes for Eagle, baumer, me, and anybody else, but I have no reason to tell you that just to side against you. I think one of my strenths, and one of Mav's new found strengths (no, not your ridiculous knowledge of JAWS LARRY) is knowing when to admit that you are at least partly responsible for what has gone wrong. I think I can fess up when I do something wrong or inappropriate. It's an innate qualtiy that goes a long way to soothing things over. I've done many things wrong here and at mojo but when I recognize them, I think I can apologize for them. Maybe you should try that notion at times Goldie.

Sorry Baumer but I disagree. Like for one example, your stir the pot comment. That is exactly the type of comment that I would have discussed in the past and maybe most people would not understand why I was discussing it but I know it is an incorrect comment and I would fight / dispute it and then others would be jumping in and ganging up on me. Someone said that I never admit I am wrong, that is wrong because I do when I am wrong. In general, I have a very well thought out process so usually very early on, I have a reason for what I say. Therefore, if my reasons were logical, there is nothing to apologize for. I am just stating my opinion.

In general, I do not know how intelligent I am but I have lots of common sense, street smarts and am very analytical. In my life and even in business, I am usually very good at analyzing situations and making suggestions. There are many people, posts, threads that I have no interest in so I ignore them. However, like most of the big posters here, when I am involved in a discussion, I fight passionately about my ideas. There are alot of people here who love to join in on the group gang mentality. If you want to discuss something, discuss it but many people here love to go negative instead of discussing the facts.

Those are some of the reasons that I posted my suggestions in my prior above post.

In addition, yes, maybe that first comment was wrong but also there is a lot of frustration on my part. However, hopefully, any good ideas will still be looked at

My only and biggest problem were that the full ideas for this were never put out early and there was never any discussion on bettering the process. Then some were making jokes instead of answering questions which pissed me off.

Especially the way that you hyped this and it was the KJ awards.

I do not support what loyal did in this issue, and never said I did. I publicly said that you both have done things wrong. I think you both have carried on far too long. That was the thread in question that Mr. Innocent was referring to, and if you scroll down, you can plainly see that he did what he always does, stuck his nose in, berated my character as if he even knows me, and laid all the blame for the world's problems at my feet. A far cry from what he claimed, huh? He lies quite a bit. He'd just like it to end? Isn't it funny how it DID end, but that wasn't good enough, as he has shown his true colors, and wanting it to end was never on his agenda.

At the same time, I think you're within your right to ask the mods/admins to investigate the matter into how he got the email address. I think you bring up some great points, but they get lost in the ensuing sideshow. I believe you'd get a lot further if you'd play the middle ground more often, but that's just my thinking.

Here's my problem.

'The Site' section of the World of KJ forums is a very boring section, but every now and again there comes a thread that goes on for ten pages and pans out like a bad episode of Dallas. And there's nothing I like more than a bad episode of Dallas.

Now unfortunately I rarely check 'The Site', due to the aforementioned boringness, and, as a result, tend to miss these entertaining threads as and when they arrive. I'm left to sift through the piddling guff, long after everyone's kissed and made up and/or got bored.

In conclusion, I suggest some form of site function that alerts posters via PM when a spicy new argument thread pops up.
