Looks good so far Eagle. Question, even on DSL the graphics load very slow. Is it server overload or something with the size? Just curious.

Once my reviews and box office analysis get up, the site should be perfect.
Otherwise, looking good so far!

Question, what about my old reviews, like pre-the old new site design? I think I have them saved on my computer somewhere.

Rouge,
The site doesn't transfer slow for me at all?
Can the rest of you tell me what kind of load times you are experiencing?
There are a few more graphics, but nothing that should be extremly slow, and the server should be fine.

Zing,
All your reviews are transfered. Soon you will have an archive page, a personal page, and all your reviews will be viewable to anyone. Soon.

I'm at work right now, I'll check when I get back home and see, it may have just been the new design or something.
I'll let you know tonight.
Also do you have my old reviews archived or should I resubmit them? Just let me know its all good.

I like it a lot. Its all very movie-ish.
I admire anyone who can do php like you guys have. Coding for me is light the nightmare before hell. Im trying to work out a particular XML based software right now - namely customizing templates. But even though i know my way around the graphical side - its fucking murder.
Php gets easier through trial and error - ive actually got a big book in my cupboard but it was all just...

yea .. coding in php is a bit of a pain as theres no real development debugging environment .. right now eagle and my main job is to first throw in the content for the different links in with a few article and once we get the look and feel, to atleast automate link generation.
php becomes significantly easier with a database though. we've pulled off a few things i didn't think we could but only through the database. what kind of things are you looking into michael?
This is my favorite reference site.
http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/41/0.php
http://www.freewebmasterhelp.com/tutorials/phpmysql/1
there are ofcourse, other sites too .. but those were easy to follow in atleast getting the hand of the coding style php requires .. very C++ish.

Cool links baba, ill check them out.
Due to my general incapibility to code since i was 13 years old ive turned to looking at more template based systems. They are easier and convient for me to update - which is especially helpful when im busy. I hate the idea of having to code every update.
All ill say right now is that the plans for NF7 to become a "media site" have been pretty much scuppered at this stage in favour of a different and somewhat more refreshing site structure.
I don't think its practical for me to take on running a "media site" right now; nor do i have the money or resources to invest - furthermore ive read a bazillion other "media sites" that all seem exactly the same. Its just something i realised wasn't what it was going to be i guess. But the new idea is a lot more fun for all invovled i hope.
