Post Various problems
1. When you post the last post in a page another page is made; the new page has nothing on it.
2. The portal login isnt integrated to the forum login properly. Logging in from the portal keeps you logged in there; but any time you try to do something it forwards you to the login page again
3.Logging in from the forums now seem to forward me to the portal page which leads to the same problem

Theres other issues ive been having since the change that are really irritating but i cant remember them right now :P

1) This only happens when the first post on a page is deleted.
2) Sometimes you have to dual login on the portal, I will look into why. If you login properly on the portal, your avartar will come up in a block to the right, showing how many posts since your last visit. Once that happens, your are logged in. If that doesn't happen, then your not logged in.
3) Logging in will forward you to the portal, but it does not in my experience cause any problems. You should be able to navigate wherever you please, and should be logged in.

Perhaps you can cut everybody's user name in half, thus logging in twice will not take any more time. It's an easy solution and everybody wins.

If not, I must, once again, demand a refund as my time is valuable and I can not afford to simply sit here for hours typing in my username and password.

Eagle - the log in problems seem like a database issue. Does the portal share the same database as the forums?

Yes they do.

I don't believe it is a database issue, but I will check it out.

The only problem I have noticed is the portal will occasionally make you re-enter your login credentials.

Its a lot better for a webmaster to know if the users are having problems than for them to silent get pissed off about it.

It means that Eagle can investiage the problems and fix them incase they are happening to other users as well.

The login thing may be a wrong our outdated version conflict with your PHPBB.
The portal i use was once not the most up to date version for VB and it caused a nightmare for like, 3 days.
Im STILL trying to figure out formatting problems since the style change, which im really not sure about yet.

Nah the forum is completly up-to-date. I will check into the login issue later though. If anyone else has the same issues (other than having to type your login twice) let me know.

Curiously though ... this board runs on PHPBB 2 ... well PHPBB 3 is in development and releasing soon ... not sure if I will migrate or not. As of now it looks doubtful, as I am not a fan of what I am hearing about PHPBB 3.
