 Seed of Chucky Predictions
Mwahahaha.
Well, it's two weeks away. It's a comedy, basically. But, horror has been on a roll this year. I think this will be a mid-sized hit, similar to Exorcist: The Beginning. Probably the same numbers, too.
Opening- $18.0
Total- $40.0
What are your predictions?

It will be competing with The Incredibles, After the Sunset and The Polar Express, and I think this one will bomb completely.
Opening: $6.5 million
Total: $15 million

seeing how Bride only opened with 12 million and there wasnt crap to compete with and Bride also somewhat looked like it might bring the scare back to Chucky...
this one looks completly ghey and loony plus it has so much else to compete with
you wanna compare numbers, compare it to American Werewolf in Paris...it also opened in the wrong time of the year along with stiff competition Xmas of 97...
7.1 opening
18 total

It won't do that well, but it'll make a profit.
Give it a $9-10M opening, with awful legs, leading to a $23-25M finish.l

I really hope for it to do well, but I am it will get lost among all the benemoths of movies in November.
My predictions:
Opening weekend - $9.6 million
Total gross - $24.2 million

Theater count is too low to do more than $15 million this weekend.

The current total for it is $16,703,173. That's not even a 2x multiplier! So, Animosity Reigns was the closest. Congratulations for predicting this complete and utter bomb!
Atleast it made it's production budget back ...

So, Zing, since I'm pretty lazy, tell us who will most likely win total gross...
