OK, I was wrong about Star Wars 3
Before someone else finds my words and makes me eat them...
I had predicted that the 3rd film would do less than the second; I never said it woud be a flop, but I thought there would be people like me who were so burned by the first two, they'd avoid the third. Besides, we all know how it ends, right?
Guess I was wrong.
But so were all the people who said it would do better than the first film, too. (Unless it has amazing staying power...)

I was wrong too. I never thought there was a strong "last movie" factor.

Damn you are early. I guess it wasnt obvious 200 million dollars ago that this film would do more than Attack of the Clones, hmmmm?

Emperor, that was entirely uncalled for. :-# The issue here isn't knowing when RotS would outdo Clones, it was gathering courage to ADMIT it, which takes a little time. This website could use all the humility it can get.
I too underpredicted RotS. I didn't think (and, admit it, nobody else thought either) that RotS would be of better quality than PM or AotC. Therefore, predicting that RotS would follow the old sequel rule was entirely valid.

I thought ROTS would be better quality than TPM or AOTC.
I also joined the ROTS $500 million club though, so guess where that leaves me...
