Next weekend I will probably go see the movie again, though this time around it will be on a digital screen. Does anyone know the difference between the two versions, in terms of running time, or are they exactly the same?

Sadly, they are identical - no bonus Dagobah scene...

Ok, then let's put it this way: LOTR was less flawed than SW (Ep3). ;)

She's completely submissive. She's the exact opposite of her daughter.

How naughty.

*laughs*

She did have that bondage like dress in AOTC...damn that was hot, and the naked dress.

Christensen did have a kick ass body, that shirtless scene with the hip bones...she wants him for the sex, who wouldn;t want to fuck a jedi,it owuld be bloody amazing.

It takes more than just action to craft a good film.

While the final battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan is better than we could've hoped, the movie's screenplay is still questionable. How can you take a character, aspiring to have so much power, seriously if he speaks in cliches, screams, and "I Hate You"s. Whenever Anakin spoke, I thought of a crazy guy in front of Toys 'R Us who happened to get the wrong amount of change back.

There's a reason why screenplays are important to films. Even action movies. I can't suspend my disbelief to watch these if they're complicated and need dialogue to get by. Yeah, there's a basic story behind Star Wars, but Lucas goes further and adds a senate, a chancellor, robots, wookies, Jar Jar Binks, and a Princess. He needs to use dialogue. Good dialogue.

Fortunately, Lucas actually uses action sequences to develop something. This isn't just a man trying to prevail over a stronger man, this is a man transitioning into another man. Lucas effectively speaks through his action scenes in a way that hasn't been done before. If I can recall, only Neo's scene where he first "flies" in The Matrix Reloaded shows off a newfound ability. But, Lucas' shows Anakin's new ability, desire, and development. And, that's Revenge of the Sith's strength.

B+

first of all i wanted to salute Mr. George Lucas. e really blew me away with Revenge Of The Sith. i saw the movie on saturday. and the movie really really surpass my expectation.it's completely beyond my expectation. i never thought it would be this GOOD!!! i can say this movie is totally perfect for me. although we all know that every movie has its own flaw. but Revenge Of The Sith is 100% perfect for me. i'm judging it not because i'm a hard-core fans of Star Wars. but it's true. i enjoy the movie thoroughly since the very first minutes the movie starts till the next 140 minutes later. it glued me to my seat. i suggest to everyone i know go and see this final movie of Star Wars Saga and enjoy it. you gonna love it, man.

the movie opened with the greatest battle over galaxy that you never seen before in any other movie or any other episode of Star Wars. the movie also gives out more action this time rather than the politics talking.

Epidose III is the most darkest chapter of all Star Wars you've ever seen. and it's the BEST OF "ALL"!!! everything is explained in this movie. why Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, i don't wanted to giving out too much. i can just say that it's something related to the things that universal. see it yourself if you wanted to know more. Hayden Christensen who plays as Anakin is giving his best performances in this movie, he looks very total in his character. better than Episode II. especially when he step into the dark side of the force. the movie also shows that he attacked the Jedi Temple and wipe out all the Jedis inside the temple. this part really makes me sob, it's one of the touching moment when you saw it. ; )

Ewan McGregor still plays very good as Obi Wan as good as he used to be in the last 2 episodes. and there is a moment that touched me too from Obi Wan and Anakin, when the duel are over between them. almost makes me cry.

the special FX of this movie was Incredible. i had to admit it, it deserves Two Thumbs Up for their creativity. the best FX in this movie is the Mustafar scene.

the lightsabre duel was FANTASTIC!!!, there are lots of LIghtsabre duel in this episode. starts from Obi Wan & Anakin Skywalker Vs. Count Dooku. till the very last duel at the different places. Obi Wan Vs. Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader) and Yoda Vs. Darth Sidious. this last 2 battle was the best ever. very gripping and intense. but there is one duel that caught my attention too, was when Obi Wan against General Grievous.

well enough of those, i'm scared that i'm giving out too much. actually i can write this longer than i write an essay. i can write this thing for more than ten thousand words to say about this movie, but i think that's enough. just go see it for yourself.

MY GRADE FOR ROTS IS A++, 10/10

Spoilers ahead...

The good:
- It was miles better than Phantom Menace and a few points above Attack of the Clones
- The action was solid, and I was entertained during the action sequences.
- It tied both ends of the series together very nicely.
- Overall easy/fun to watch.

The bad
- I was expecting a little more from most of the jedi council getting destroyed. It went down way too easy without much of a fight.
- It was slightly too simplistic - My father (in his mid 60's) who didn't even see Attack of the Clones, understood everything. It'd would have been nice to have something you could sink your teeth into.
- Not enough Wookies
- Nothing was unexpected
- Amadala's birth/death scene. Those babies came out awfully easy, and she died awfully quickly. And, nothing to live for?!?! What about your two babies?

The ugly
- Darth Vader's "Noooooooo" cry
- The very dry 1/2 hour after the opening battle sequences where I nearly fell asleep.

Bottom line:
It was enjoyable, despite it's flaws. I give ROTS a B-

Good points, Tony.

The cries and screams (in particular Chancellor Palatine when SLJ's got total control over him) were atrocious.

It was simplistic, but I found myself trying to remember things in the first two movies. It had more to do with character identification then plot, though.

I really liked how through all that, Anakin ended up being the one to destroy the sith anyway. Nice touch.

Kid?

The fans had, in my opinion, every reason to be pissed with TPM and, in a lesser extent, with AOTC. This one is a much better picture than the other 2 were, so it's only normal that they are much happier with the final result.

BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR!
The perfect way to start the summer season.
Much better than Episodes 1 and 2.
I need to re-watch the original trilogy before I compare this to them.
Great movie.

No.. Were happier with this because it ties into ANH so beautifully and face it: The movie kicks ass whether some of you harp on the Dialogue and Acting kick or not..

Saw it yesterday (in DLP, bitches!), and although I have to jump on the crappy acting and dialogue train (I know this isn't the "point," but come on, guys, some of this was just giggle inducing), I had a great time. So technically and visually staggering. (It was like I was watching ROTK, only I was interested! Oh, burrrrn.)

A- at the moment.

More later.

I do have to agree with BKB on one thing, though. Why are people honestly paying attention to the acting and dialogue of this film? I mean, we're not talking about Crash here, people. It's Star Wars. I don't remember who, but someone gave it a low mark because it had bad dialogue or something. Why that would affect your thoughts on the movie as a whole is beyond me, but to each his own.

I thought the movie was great overall, but things like acting and dialouge pushed it down a notch. The first 30min or so was freakin pathetic with crappy dialogue, it makes you roll your eyes and it makes the movie seem like a cheesefest, thats why acting and dialouge is important in even a movie like this, PLUS theres plenty of scenes involving dialouge, its not like this is xXx or something, the movie revolves around a story and it has ALOT of story. Though overall I did enjoy it, technically it was great and I loved the action, but some of the pathetic acting from ALMOST everyone puts this movie down a notch, when Yoda a cgi character gives one of the best performances out of the bunch you know somethings wrong

Anyways i'll be generous enough to give it a B+, throughout the movie the dialouge did get better and the movie overall is much better then PM and AOTC.

A guy actually fell asleep and started snoring so damn loud today when I saw it, we had no freakin idea what it was at first, it was after the fight between Palpatine and Mace Windu, I actually thought it was from the movie, then realized it was some guy all the way almost in the back row, threw a popcorn at him and everything was fine after that

Come on. This was epic. Never mind the cheesy dialouge. I still liked it. I'm not ashamed to like Star Wars anymore.

I don't fault them, upon first viewing I gave the movie a B/B-, upon a second viewing, the grade has decreased sharply.
