Too bad Despicable couldn't have waited another week. Twisters would have been perfect for this weekend.

DM3 was only so big so I guess this is fine, if they knew how things would go obviously they’d been better off owning May.

Yeah I agree this would have been a good week for Twisters. DM and Inside Out have all summer so keen to see where they end up.

Here in Oz DM4 opened in IO2’s second weekend and matched IO’s 2nd weekend, same with the 3rd. Should have opened in May.

Well, I guess Inside Out 2 didn't hurt this much after all. It's off to a great start.

Looks like 20m thursday and around 110m over 5 days. Dont think it has enough in the tank to hit 300m considering 3 day is looking like low 60s. Probably finishing around DM1 domestic and 750-800m range for WW.

Very good indeed. Minions are extremely popular among kids and so there is a floor for these movies and they do well WW.

It's crazy that the only kids movies this summer are Inside Out 2, Despicable Me 4, and Harold & The Purple Crayon.

Same, even with Minions movie I'm surprised Illumination had the restraint. Frozen 1 to 2 was only 6 years and it seemed like they waited forever.
