 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
Hillary and Biden has almost identical policies. Why the hell would "Bernie voters" jump from him to... Biden?

 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
Well, an obvious reason is that people 4 years were voting for Bernies socialist movement but have now decided they'd rather cut their losses and beat trump first. Trump was not, or hardly a factor, in the bernie-hillary primary 4 years ago. It seems a better explanation to me than sexism.

Except Bernie supporters are adamant that they vote for policies, not to beat Trump.

 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
Bernie could make a comeback as Healthcare looks like playing the biggest role in 2020 elections even more than economy. If there is no health then there is no economy. So Bernie could make a pitch for Medicare for all and that could resonate with voters.
But even Biden will do 100x better than excuse of a person sitting at WH.

Could voting places be the next victim of coronavirus? They are public gatherings in a way, though the crowds are spread throughout the day.

 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
Well Tuesday looks to be a serious massacre.
Polls today show that relative to Sanders, Biden is up ~40 in Florida, ~30 in Illinois, 22 in Ohio, and 17 in Arizona. The 4 states that vote on Tuesday. The next state up, Georgia, will be another Biden landslide.
Bernie needs to get out after this Tuesday

But even Biden will do 100x better than excuse of a person sitting at WH. Yeah, if this virus outbreak happened earlier before Super Tuesday, Sanders could have a fairly good shot at beating the moderates by hammering on the health care issue. And possible postponement of voting could keep Sanders' momentum.

 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
Ohio primary was supposed to be today, but the state made a last-minute decision to call it off, citing a health emergency declared by the director of the Health Department. Earlier in the day, the Governor sought a court order to delay the election. But the court declined to grant it. This will go to the state supreme court. But in-person voting likely won't happen today. https://www.cleveland.com/open/2020/03/citing-health-emergency-ohio-officials-to-order-polls-closed-on-election-day-despite-judges-ruling.html

Hillary drove a lot of people away in her own right, etc etc etc. But people flocked from her to Bernie, and then BACK from Bernie to Biden. You'd have to be an idiot to not see the sexism. Well, I'm the crazy liberal here, so I have to disagree at least as far as I was concerned. Four years ago, I didn't think Hillary could win - I knew all the terrible negatives that had been thrown at her from the GOP for so many years. I also knew it was an election where no one wanted to vote for the "insider." That's one of the reasons Trump got the Republican nomination, and then we Democrats nominated the ultimate insider. And the only other option was Bernie. Had Booker or Harris or Warren run then, I would have supported them, like I did this time. I did not support Bernie this time because we had so many other great possibilities. And then what did we do? We once more nominated the ultimate insider. So if we lose again, that'll probably be why. I mean, sure, I'll vote for Biden over Trump. I'll vote for a ham sandwich over Trump.

Considering he has no chance of winning and making people go out in crowds to vote is obviously unideal, Bernie needs to quit after tonight.

 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
Tulsi Gabbard suspended her campaign and endorsed Joe Biden. Bernie Sanders is going to have conversations with supporters to assess his campaign. Quote: "The next primary contest is at least three weeks away. Sen. Sanders is going to be having conversations with supporters to assess his campaign," Faiz Shakir, the Sanders campaign manager said.
"In the immediate term, however, he is focused on the government response to the coronavirus outbreak and ensuring that we take care of working people and the most vulnerable." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-51947795

He got screwed again, but probably would have lost anyways thanks to Rona. Hard to sell a revolution when people are more concerned about losing their everyday comforts to the plague.

 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
This pretty much secures four more years of Trump. But at this point, what wouldn't? He could hand out coronavirus to a bunch of people, get them all sick, kill a bunch of them, and spin it to blame the media and none of his supporters would disagree.

I don't blame Bernie for losing to Biden, but it's embarrassing someone like Warren couldn't put up more of a challenge to help the Democrats avoid running a dementia rapist with no real platform outside of not being Trump

 Re: Democratic Primary 2020
Warren caught foot in mouth disease somewhere along the way and just kept overexplaining everything. People say they want details, but they really just want hope, and details are usually an antagonist to hope.

Yep. Warren took the national lead, then she went into detail (which is something Bernie never does) and she fell.
