Gringo and The Hurricane Heist could contend for question no. 7.

Re: KJ's Spring Box Office Contest - Points Update for Mar 4
It looks like the top 4 will be
1. Black Panther 2. Rampage 3. Peter Rabbit 4. Fifty Shades
And the number 5 film will be Wrinkle or READY PLAYER one.

A dark horse such as A Quiet Place or Blockers might also sneak into the top five, though it seems Ready Player One will do well (positive reviews help).

Will this be the first time ever that the Summer contest starts in April?

So glad nobody predicted I Can Only Imagine for #10 because that's the answer.

Yeah mostly no one on the board knew it was being released and then the small theater count also didn't help. But this opens up a possibility for next time to not take faith based movies for granted.

It was on the schedule the whole time. People just didn't know what it was. Though the trailer was attached to Wonder which many saw. Just hard to gauge these faith-based films and how wide they'll open. Hard to know which of them will break out.

Re: KJ's Spring Box Office Contest - Points Update for Mar 1
It's not 100% that I Can Only Imagine will win question 10. It has patterns similar to a concert movie (like the pre-sales), and Son of God had pretty hard drops. They both dropped on Saturday. And Paul Apostle of Christ could hit it hard. It has the A+ Cinemascore but I think it's too early to call it a lock.

But people also realized they'd already seen Son of God and it was just an edited down version of the Bible mini-series. Paul is not hitting hard. People are LOVING ICOI and it will likely get many repeat viewings. Not to mention Son of God didn't get a big theater increase (just 11 as it was already ultra wide).

Yeah ICOI is pretty much a lock from this opening it should easily get past $35m mark which should be good enough to win this question. There aren't many movies left in the draw to challenge that mark.
