Re: Most anticipated October release?
This is an insane, terrific month. I am genuinely excited for, or at least quite eager to see, at least 20 movies. The top five might be:
1. Blade Runner 2049 2. The Florida Project 3. The Killing of a Sacred Deer 4. The Secret Scripture 5. The Snowman
Also of note: Jigsaw, which I have a certain perverse excitement for. Yes, the franchise was run into the ground, and torture porn seems almost anachronistic in 2017. But I highly enjoyed what the Spierig brothers did with Daybreakers and Predestination. I am curious if they can revitalize Saw.

Yeah, great month. Isn't October usually good? I remember we've had similar comments before about it being a surprisingly great month.
1. Blade Runner 2049 2. The Snowman 3. Happy Death Day 4. The Foreigner 5. The Mountain Between Us 6. Suburbicon 7. Jigsaw 8. The Killing of the Sacred Deer

Re: Most anticipated October release?
Pretty boring month for me following a very exciting September.
1. Blade Runner 2. Death Day
And maybe some oscar bait and/or Geostorm if my MoviePass ever comes.

Toss up between Happy Death Day and Goodbye Christopher Robin (I went with the latter in the poll).

Blade Runner 2049, easily.
I absolutely can't wait anymore. This has best movie of the year written all over it.

As much as I think The Florida Project and The Killing of a Sacred Deer look fantastic, I just can't help but be more excited for Happy Death Day. Looks like a blast. The Snowman looks superb too.

Re: Most anticipated October release?
It's definitely between The Florida Project and The Killing of a Sacred Deer for me. They're both two of my most anticipated movies of the rest of the year.

Blade Runner 2049 is easily my most anticipated film of October, but I also want to see The Snowman, The Foreigner, Suburbicon and The Killing of the Sacred Deer.

Re: Most anticipated October release?
Well it's clear that, if good, Blade Runner 2049 will be the KJ's new Mad Max: Fury Road, Arrival etc.

Re: Most anticipated October release?
I think i'll watch 2049 in IMAX as i have a free ticket from when the last 10 minutes of Dunkirk lost sound.

I'm not so hyped for it, which can only be a good thing.

Re: Most anticipated October release?
Yeah better to go in without being over hyped. I'm the same. I do like hearing that some stretches of the film are a little tedious or run too long because that has lowered my expectations somewhat.

Re: Most anticipated October release?
I don't have sky high expectations, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. The first movie wasn't exactly action packed either, so I can't say I'm surprised that this one isn't that different, but at least now I know what I'm getting myself into.

Re: Most anticipated October release?
Blade Runner by default. I somehow feel there are too many prestigious movies in this month but there is a lack of genuine blockbuster and I don't consider BR2049 as a blockbuster even though it might do those numbers.
