Re: Starting at University!
I think if I were gay id be more superficial as there would really be nothing like children to bind us together. So if I were gay and to get married, they would have to be the full package. Otherwise I'd see no reason to tie the knot.
As I'm currently into women, I'd say I'd be willing to date anyone 5 or higher. They don't have to be drop dead gorgeous, but they'd have to be at least somewhat attractive. At least until I'm 40 and still unmarried.

It sounds like you already have a rock solid relationship with this friend of yours. No children necessary!

I dream every day of holding my own children in my arms. Why didnt you date your male friends? You got along didn't you? Why are you so shallow and care that they're men as long as you care about each other? Because you weren't fucking gay. And neither am I.

Re: Starting at University!
I probably could've if the time ever came where I wasn't pursuing a woman. When I graduated high school I almost immediately started dating my first wife. Then after getting divorced I took time off, dated a few times, and then met my current wife.
I was never in your position of caring about a friend so much that I wanted to live with him and was disappointed that he didn't want to live with me. If I was, I would have had a look internally and seen that I was into a relationship with him.
I'm trying to have a discussion with you, and you're just getting angry. Maybe do some reflection.

It was going to be me, him and 2 or three of our other friends. I was just excited because this year I lived with a roommate all year who didn't give a shit about me, and I'm not going to be able to choose my roommate next year either. I'll probably still live with the other guys junior year, but I don't think they've care about me as much. But I'm glad you're so open minded and progressive. Good for you for being willing to date dydes even when you aren't attracted to them.

Who said I wouldn't be attracted to them? The thought never crossed my mind.

Re: Starting at University!
Never said I would rather become a transgender woman than have sex with men. I said I'd rather do that than have sex with ONLY men. I'd choose bisexuality over either.

I would choose that too. But are you really bisexual if you're willing to have sex with men, but feel no attraction and have not done any sexual acts?

Re: Second Year of University!
Here's a question concerning dining hall etiquette.
I am trying to become good friends with these two girls (not a boyfriend, they're both already taken). We're already friends to an extent through our Cru club and we've eaten together before and get along great. We even had a three hour brunch yesterday. Then I saw them tonight in the dining hall and they were alone. I thought about asking to join them, but I was afraid of asking to join them because I don't want to smother them or drive them away (which has happened in the past.) But I think they like me as a friend ( I don't think we would have sat talking for three hours if they didn't.)
Odds are this will happen again and I'll be conflicted again. It's really hard to make new friends when you're afraid of being a bother/annoying. And with other people too.
I just worry that maybe they want private time with one another (they're roommates, very close and do everything together since early last year.

Wow, you have no confidence. Just go and sit with them. Make a joke of it. Who cares. You really need to give less fucks about stupid social situations.

I've just rubbed people the wrong way before and I'm afraid of doing it again. I have deep trust issues for which I'm seeing a counselor.

You've handled yourself quite well amongst KJ's pack of passive-aggresive trolls and pseudo-intellectuals - I expect a good outcome for the zwackerm experiment.

Re: Second Year of University!
I'm so mature now. If this was last year, I'd certainly have posted a big personal crisis I'm going through right now, but I've exhibited excellent restraint.
I'll let ya'll know the outcome of the personal crisis if it turns out positive. Stay tuned..
