What is your drive-in showing?
Obviously not everyone has a drive-in around but for those who do I thought it would be interesting to see what's showing. Will help predict holds for the second movie.
This weekend mine re-opens and is having The Boss Baby and Hidden Figures.

Power Rangers, BatB, Kong, Rock Dog.
The only movie I remember watching at a drive in was Hancock.

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
There are 3 near me - two regular 3 screen drive-ins and one building roof top drive-in which shows older films.
The two regular ones are showing : BatB, Lego Batman, Ghost in the Shell, Power Rangers, Boss Baby and Life

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
I need my drive-in to open ASAP. We have two and they're both about an hour away in opposite directions but last year I went just about every other week with my friend and we had a blast. I've always loved going but last year was the first time I've gone in quite awhile.

That sounds awesome! It looks good though i havent been yet. The drive-in is by the docks and just outside the city though the one i love most is a rooftop cinema in the heart of the city (thats not a drive-in) but has seats and a bar. Its summer only but has a really cool atmosphere.

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
What type of older movies? Like, 90s old? or 50s? or just 6 months old?

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
I think a mix. But mainly well known or cult films stretching back to the 60s. Some of the recent films they've had - 2001, Grease, Pulp Fiction, Boogie Nights, Saturday Night Fever, Dazed and Confused etc. Doesnt look like they show new films like the other drive-ins or that other rooftop one.

Sounds like a brilliant cinema.

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
Almost forgot about this thread. Mine is showing The Nun and The Meg this weekend. Here are other pairings out there, courtesy of this thread at Fantasy Movie League: https://fantasymovieleague.com/chatter/ ... vOffset=21Quote: The Predator
Predator/Peppermint - 21 Predator/Meg - 20 Predator/EQ2 - 9 Predator/Slenderman - 8
A Simple Favor
ASF/CRA - 4 ASF/Meg - 3
White Boy Rick
WBR/Searching - 5
Holdovers
Nun/Slenderman - 41 Nun/Meg - 29 Nun/CRA - 22 Nun/Peppermint - 11
The majority still has the Nun/ Slender Man pairing.

Drive-ins are awesome, glad they haven't gone the way of the dinosaur. Kudos to Mike for creating an original thread to spawn some discussion.

Is drive-in a new technology where you can drive into movie like for real?

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
I've only been to one once at my Grandma's in PA. I saw a double showing of Clear and Present Danger and The Shadow. I was a kid though, I'm sure it'd be better as and adult on a date.
I like doing the older movies so I'm not sure if there is any near me anymore.

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
I quickly read this as, When is your drive-by shooting, confusingly thinking...But Holland and China both don't have drive-ins anyway.

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
Not sure about China, but Holland does. There's one in Horn (only 40 minutes from Posterholt!!!) and one in Arnhem. Only a few though, so I don't expect you to be aware of them.

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
That's in interesting, Horn is "nearby", although in Holland distances seemed always much further, if we had to drive 20min to anything we'd already consider it far. Anyway, going to a drive-in has not once come up in my family or circle of friends when I lived home for about 20 years.

Re: What is your drive-in showing?
Yeah, same here. It's a very American thing. We have some in the UK too, but not once have I been to one. In the UK, travelling for an hour is still nearby as we don't live in the city, so anywhere we want to go we have to travel to the city first anyway.

Unfortunately, the nearest one to me couldn't receive the funds needed for a digital projector, and closed a couple years ago.
