Re: GOLDEN GLOBE PREDICTIONS
So excited for the Golden Globe nominations. I was tempted to put Michael Shannon for Supporting Actor for Nocturnal Animals. After all they nominated him for 99 Homes last year. I could see him getting in over Neeson.

Since it won at the critics choice awards, I have to ask; Deadpool for Best Comedy?

Re: GOLDEN GLOBE PREDICTIONS
They seem to be loving Nocturnal Animals, with Tom Ford and Aaron Taylor Johnson both getting nominated. I wonder if Amy Adams will be double nominated.
Fucking Sing over Finding Dory in Animated Feature though? Fuck off.

Re: GOLDEN GLOBE PREDICTIONS
Jonah Hill and Lily Collins are two of the most WTF nominations since The Tourist got 3 nods six years ago, IMO.

I'm not anticipating Sing, but I'm quite happy that Finding Dory was ignored. Pixar will hopefully make less sequels then.

Re: GOLDEN GLOBE PREDICTIONS
Sing is alright. Definitely not better than Dory, though. I guess they just didn't want to nominate three Disney films. But My Life as a Zuchinni? WTF is that?
The Globes completely shut out Silence. Wow...

Re: GOLDEN GLOBE PREDICTIONS
The Simon Helberg nom for Florence Foster Jenkins is honestly embarrassing.
Also, I can't believe they went with Lily Collins for a massive flop at the expense of Kate Beckinsale and Sally Field. Really?

Re: GOLDEN GLOBE PREDICTIONS (Nominations announced)
Really shocked Love & Friendship couldn't even get Beckinsale a nomination. Also sucks for Sally Field. But I'm so happy Hailee Steinfeld was nominated for Edge of Seventeen.
Really surprised to see Aaron Taylor-Johnson nominated for Nocturnal Animals over Michael Shannon.

I never thought I'd hear Golden Globe winner Ryan Reynolds. But dam he seems like a shoe in with that competition.

Re: GOLDEN GLOBE PREDICTIONS (Nominations announced)
I wonder - could La La Land become the first film to win five Golden Globes since the Seventies?
Picture, Actor and Actress looks very likely. And it has a good shot at Song and Director.
