This makes me dislike Eva Longoria. She seems like such a snobby bitch. Of course, there are other things I had heard in the past that she said that made me not care for her, but this is the icing on the cake. I can still separate my feelings for her from my feelings toward the characters that she plays though. Except she actually seems like her Housewives character - just more of a bitch .

This shit always happens though. It happened with Sex & The City. Sarah Jessica Parker was pissed because she was supposed to be the star of the show and yet everyone was making a big fuss over Samantha, played by Kim Cattrall (I'll admit she was my favorite too). And then I heard Kim Cattrall was mad because she wasn't making as much money as Sarah. So these two just didn't get along, but they're supposed to have "made up" now.

A few thoughts and opinions on the episode. Oh, and before I do so, sorry Archie, I can't find the pics yet. Although the pic Mav posted is pretty good.

~Anyone else notice the blatant in-episode promo for Lost? Andrew was watching Lost on TV in the scene where he pushes Bree and Rex comes in for the save.

~It's funny how they make certain likable characters become less likable, and vice versa. Gabrielle went against her own line from the last show about being poor, that it's only a state of mind. Then she makes a comment about hating that she and Carlos are poor. Then she gets ready to ship him off to jail and keep $1.6 million, although I hope she has a change of heart. Even Susan was a bit unlikable this episode. I don't get why she's considered the star. I wish all five would be considered the five leading ladies for the show, or at least the main four.

Then on the flip side, Lynette was becoming a tad annoying lately, but she hasn't been that bad the past two shows. Same for Edie, who I actually like now. And again, same for Rex. I still don't like him, but he's being a better person lately, standing up for Bree and not taking Andrew's shit anymore. I also hate Andrew. He's been a prick since the start. The actor does a fine job portraying an arrogant, obnoxious teenager, whether he's hiding his homosexuality or not.

I think Bree should spank Lynette.

While I myself don't believe in spanking and Lynette had every right to get mad at Bree, she shouldn't have thrown that Andrew crap in Bree's face. Shut up, harpy.

Great episode, but it's frustrating to see Edie wasted like I feel she has been too much.

I enjoyed that episode, the ending did surprise me I had thought that the baby was going to be Carlos's but I should have guessed when she went to John, that should prove to be interesting when it materializes. Carlos took a turn for the worse with his manhandling of Gabrielle, I never really liked him but now I kind of hate him - funny how things can change so quickly.

Susan once again becomes kind of boring when dealing with people not on Wisteria Lane. I hope her mother on the lane was a one episode deal, it didn't interest me in the slightest. Pair her with Edie or with Mike...or with Bree...anyone on the damn Lane.

Dana is Zach? The mystery deepens, and if we can get away from Lynette's kids being unresponsive to her idle threats then perhaps we can learn more about it.

I dug tonight's episode. And Andrew looked hot tonight ;).

Anyway, I thought Carlos was a prick. I want Gabrielle to leave him.

I wonder when the whole hit-and-run thing will catch up with Andrew. Things like that always do seem to come back to haunt people. I actually wish he really would get away with it and nobody would find out, but I doubt that will happen. I'll cross my fingers though. And I thought it was pretty cool how his dad seems to be fine with him being gay. It's usually the mom if either parent that handles it better, but in this case it's the dad.

The next episode looks good...

Does Lynette wear dentures? I found it extremely distracting how perfect her teeth were. Sorry if I sound like a complete fool, I just started watching 2 weeks ago.

EXCELLENT EPISODE!!

How unstoppable is the writing force behind this amazing show.
Each episode for the past few months seem like filler episodes, but slowly and slowly unravel the plot while holding us over with great mini-plots.

I don't know why everyone hates Lynnette; obviously people who watch this show don't have kids. I like all the characters and Lynnette is no exception. I like her alot actually. It does get a little redundant with her kids, but having Bree spank one of them was an excellent change of pace.

And while we are on the subject of Bree, the best written character AGAIN. I am really growing attached to her and her plight with Andrew. I really felt sorry for her and I think this episode really transcended into something deeper than prime-time soap-opera-esque bubblegum fun. I loved how it dug deep into this family [the Vandekamps].

Gabrielle's storyline also got pretty damn interesting. I knew early on in the season they'll give her a baby... it's the only way to give her character a substantial storyline and I had briefly thought it might be John's, but it still came as sweet surprise when Mary Alice revealed it at the end. I always sorta liked Carlos (and still liked Gabrille) but now that Carlos has turned abusive and knowing that their marriage is really in the rut (although it did prove to be the funniest blackmailing couple performance of the year) I'm split between the selfish adultress wife or the abusive yet children-yearning husband.

And then there's Susan, whom I also always liked ;) What can I say I'm a sucker for housewives! But for the first time, her storyline was rather boring to me (except for the small run into Mike). Although Newhart was a nice little cameo, I also hope her mother was a one or 2 episode story-arch (though I have a feeling she won't be).

Edie was infamously missed. They really do need to incorporate her into the regular housewives. They could have at the least put her in the poker scene, even if she would have had one line. She is just as good and interesting as the other housewives.

And then there is the Zach storyline. When the show first started, in it's second month, one of my friends, also a Housewife nut always poured in her thoughts on the possible plot twists about Mary Alice and Dana. If I remember correctly one of her theories was that Mary Alice and her husband adopted a child named Dana, changed the name to Zach and when its birth mother came, they killed her and put her in the box. At oen poijnt, I think a plot twist came up that shot down that theory, but I can't remember what it is and now it seems she might have been ON THE MONEY!!!!

Some critics have called the MAry-Alice narration average, but I enjoy it quite alot and I love the way it ties in every episode in and out. I just wish the writing never depreciates for thsi drama. I can't wait till next week's episode.

Does anyone know when that hour summary-cliff-notes like episode is going to air? And when is the finale going to air?

Im still a little lost on the characters, but from watching for 3 weeks, I've pretty much caught up. Now what's the deal with Zach, and who is Edie again?

Here is what I expect, especially with the previews taken into consideration. Either Carlos is going to kill John or Gab, or Gab or John or that one hitman guy from earlier is going to kill Carlos. At the least, and attempt to kill one of those three will occur, I would bet money on it!!!

The relationship between Gabrielle and the 18 year old didn't bother me much early on because it was obviously intended as comic relief ridiculousness. But this episode they took it more seriously and it seemed rather creepy frankly, watching a 30 something woman make out with a teenager. Of course in real life the actor is only 3 years younger than Gabby, that's hollywood for you.
