Re: Predict now - who will be our 2016 president?
I think Kasich comes in second in NH now. I would watch out for him, as he has ran a pretty positive campaign. I can't believe I would say it, but I would actually think about voting for him in the general election.

I can't believe we could have a fascist vs a communist in the general election. However, I still believe Hillary will win SC and Nevada and I would watch out for Kasich. He easily could surprise people.

Re: Predict now - who will be our 2016 president?
It's Trump or nothing. Actually at this point I'd vote for Bernie over any Republican but Trump. I don't want Hillary. New Hampshire voters know she's a dirty rotten liar with her sleaze bag husband. Bernie has a solid message of powerful ideas but he isn't building a wall nor intent on stopping illegals so I'm solid Trump. Now we go to South Carolina and Trump will probably win that with the split voting among all the trashy career politicos. I look forward to that. I love love loved seeing Hillary get stomped. #FeeltheBern

Re: Predict now - who will be our 2016 president?
If you think Trump could build a wall and make Mexico you are crazy. The only way he could get them to pay for it is by invading and installing a puppet government. And do you know how much money it would cost to deport that many people? Trump ain't winning, worst case Bloomberg runs as an independent and beats both Trump and Bernie. I figure there is at least 30-35% of the Republicans that won't vote for Trump, and there are at least 25-30% of the Democrats that feel the same way about Bernie. I think Bloomberg would have a great chance against Heir Trump and Comrade Bernie.

Re: Predict now - who will be our 2016 president?
I can only see Cruz challenging Trump starting with a strong showing at South Carolina which is a state friendlier to him and he cared a lot more about it. The other guys will have lost the first 3 primaries assumingly and are in each other's way, or more relevantly, in Rubio's way. Christie dragged Rubio to hell and Bush will be endlessly taking Rubio's votes as he has too much money and won't quit for months

Re: Predict now - who will be our 2016 president?
Let me tell you a fact. If the Republicans want to win or have any chance of winning Trump must be the nominee. Simply because his voters like me aren't gonna be holding our noses voting for another lying double crossing establishment career ass politician. This is a chance to break the system by installing someone who is not in the pocket of either party. Also, Trump puts battleground states in play. No one else does. Case closed.
Second, I would LOVE Bloomburg to run. I would LOVE him to spend a billion dollars peddling his leftists gun grabbing elitist attitude. It'd already be a Trump landslide but if Bloom was in it then you might as well crown Trump President.
Lastly, yeah Mexico will pay one way or another be it by fees imposed on money sent to Mexico from the gobs of illegals here and tariffs on imports from Mexico but that sorry country will pay for letting people just waltz over that border every damn day.
So you stick with Bush, Kasich, Rubio and all the other demons but I'm going with someone who can shake things up for real.

Cruz would be threatening to the establishment as well. I originally wrote him off as just a creepy guy and the Jesus candidate, but as a libertarian after Rand dropped out I looked into him more and was impressed. He's a constitution freak who wants to fix fraud and waste and cronyism, wants to audit the Federal Reserve, is anti-NSA, wants to simplify the tax code and abolish the IRS, and despite his rhetoric lately about carpet bombing to get conservative voters, I believe he has the most anti-war pointing history of the candidates except for Bernie, including Hillary. He has according to some from his Harvard past a genius level IQ (apparently was a big snob/jerk about it) and sounds like a guy committed to beliefs and his intellectual ideals, rather than a shallow suit reading from a script like Marco Rubio

So nghtsvsn I guess you want to see Muslims rounded up and either deported or killed next. Trump is a bigot who is nothing but an autocrat and would try to be a dictator if he was elected president. He cares nothing about the constitution and would do whatever the hell he wants.

Stop being crazy. He never said he wants to round up Muslims. He started with a ban on all Muslims entering the United States for a period of time until we figure out what's going on. Obviously he's not gonna get that but it will be something more narrow and specific in the end. Makes perfect sense to limit any visitation or migration of Muslims pending certain qualifiers since that demographic commits nearly all major terrorists attacks in the world today. Seems to care about the 2nd amendment and defending the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic as well so I'm pretty sure he believes in America and our Constitution.

That's already three strikes. It's good that you prefer Corden over Colbert, otherwise the sum of all that would mean immediate deportation or the death penalty.

And the idea of banning Muslims from the country is a horrible idea and is just one step away from what the Nazis did. He also defended the Japanese interment camps which was one of the worst moments in our nation's history.

On illegal immigration across the US-Mexico border. What is the real situation there? What is the current US policy? All I hear is politicians talking and the media repeating their bland messages.

Hillary is a much, much stronger candidate than Hillary.
He really is a one issue candidate. That is a great argument.

Hillary campaign needs to get the word out more that Sanders in the general is scary, it puts any GOP candidate in play to be president because they would be the not socialist choice

I agree, plus it is quite possible that Bloomberg runs if its Sanders vs Trump and that may lead to a Trump presidency, which I shudder to think about what that means for our nation.

Re: Predict now - who will be our 2016 president?
Rubio finishes 2nd in SC and then uses that momentum to take all the establishment votes and become nominee... I think that is most logical scenario right now

People don't want establishment and therefore Rubio is not finishing second in SC.

I think Rubio finishes a close 3rd. Not sure what that means, I guess it depends if Bush drops out. I think the only chance the establishment has is if it is a contested convention.
