Netflix renews Orange is the New Black for three more seasons (not including the upcoming season this summer, which will be season 4). This will take it to at least 2019.

Jesus, isn't Piper's sentence just 19 months or something??

Considering the arc they've set Piper up with (i.e. becoming the new Walter White), perhaps she'll do something in prison that will extend her sentence.

No wonder. It has been getting good numbers for a 10 PM show.

Lately:

"The Good Wife" will end after season 7.

"Angel From Hell" has been cancelled after 5 episodes. It has completed shooting on all 13 episodes of its order and their airdate is unknown.

"Mozart In The Jungle" has been renewed for a third season by Amazon.

This is a bit surprising because the ratings weren't awful but the show was pretty bad. May have been more of a creative decision. CBS will swap in 2 Broke Girls in that Thursday, 9:30 slot.

I thought it was doomed from the minute they pushed it back from its November launch. They seemed to have little faith in it. Now hopefully Jane Lynch can move on to something more deserving of her talent.

"The Good Wife" announcing the end of its run opens up a lot of actors for pilot season as well. Curious to see if anyone ends up booking anything last minute as I'm sure they would be in demand - Archie Panjabi already booked something for example after being off the show less than a year.

Yep. A surprising small comedy hit for NBC.

"Once Upon A Time" has been renewed for season 6.
"Fresh Off The Boat" has been renewed for season 3.
"Quantico" has been renewed for season 2.

Happy for the latter two. "Quantico" is my favorite new broadcast show of the season.

So happy for Fresh Off the Boat, which continues to hold its own in the wasteland that has been ABC Tuesdays this season.

Some good renewals there. Happy with all of them.

"How To Get Away With Murder," "Scandal," "Grey's Anatomy," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," "Black-ish," "The Middle," "Shark Tank," "Dancing With The Stars" and "The Bachelor" have been renewed.

The ABC shows still on the bubble are "Agent Carter," "Nashville," "Castle," "Last Man Standing," "Dr. Ken," "Galavant," "The Muppets" and "American Crime."

I see them giving final season renewals to "Nashville" and "Castle," renewing "Last Man Standing" and "American Crime" and cancelling the rest.

It would make sense to order 13 final episodes of Nashville and Castle and split them in the same time slot.

An "Americsn Crime" renewal would be for prestige only, right? Because its ratings suck.

I am also doubtful about "Castle". The season finale is being written as a series finale and the ratings took an alarming drop.

"Last Man Standing" is by far the most likely to be renewed of those that remain.

Yeah, it gets them Emmy love and this season has been more acclaimed than the first. I feel like they'll throw it a bone renewal wise - they also want to be in business with John Ridley who's developing a ton of content for them.

Last Man Standing is definitely getting renewed. It's been so stable for ABC on Fridays. Will probably be around a few more seasons.

Really glad to hear about that Quantico renewal.

Dr. Ken might get renewed too since it is on Friday and gives a pairing to LMS. I wonder if Season 6 will be the last season for OUAT. The ratings are getting pretty low for it and could dip below 1 at some point.

As long as they keep inserting pointless Disney characters into the mix they'll try and keep it going - they said they may phase out the old characters to give it new leads though. The end of season 5/beginning of season 6 will apparently feature versions of Mufasa and Scar :funny:  So glad I stopped watching.

It will never happen but it would be great if they kept "Galavant" around. Season 2 was a lot of fun.

Just a rumor, though, because it says there will be two brothers. The descriptions really don't fit Mufasa and Scar much, though.

Are you kidding me? I kept meaning to pick up with this show again as I've watched just the first season but man, that sounds dumb as fuck. Maybe I'll just leave it at having seen season 1.

I really didn't think American Crime would see another season but honestly I feel like the ratings this season are due to the storyline. I think this season is great but it will turn a lot of people off. I think a third season could see a bit better ratings. It's all about what they pick for a story.
