Yiiiiiikes.

That's terrible for Sin City. Two huge drops in a row during April is not good. This will fall atleast 60% this weekend.

Remember our little arguement about how frontloaded it would be?

Not good for Sin City.

A $65M total is probably the limit here.

That's still a solid performance, though.

I'm not really suprised overall with the frontloading Sin City is showing. Before the year, I thought that besides the horror films, it would be the most frontloaded along with Constatine and Elektra in the months before the summer. But, that Tuesday increase sure was deceptive.

They are some really strange weekday numbers for Sin City. Were some of the schools off? thats some really big jumps for the kids films.

Damn, this is definitely not a good sign. I'm still hoping for a decent drop though, and I do think it won't have a terrible hold, Hostage increased 150% Thursday-to Friday and City might even more.

Not exactly, it's deceiving because they modified the Monday and Wednesday numbers as well. Somehow a great Monday hold of 65% turned into a 72% drop, and Wednesday was over 2M instead of 1.7. The whole week estimates were messed up.

Yup, Tuesday numbers used to be 2.4mil now they're 2.03 Wednesday it was 2.06 now its 1.7, but the fact it didnt actually have a horrible drop on Thursday instead it had an increase makes it look MUCH better for the weekend now.

One thing which looks encouraging is that now it will probably have a better Friday increase than I expected. Normally the higher the Monday drop, the better the Friday increase. It's symmetric. So I'm now expecting an increase of 130%-150% instead of the 100% that KB Vol 2 got.

Due to Sin City increasing on both tuesday and thursday i believe a friday increase well over 150% will happen with ease but Im aiming for a 200%+ increase, because no film that has opened at the same level or greater that has droped on saturday has increased on both tuesday and thursday.

Those numbers still could be deceiving. Increases might not have happened at all.

Ok, nevermind what I said, that's more like it, and means that what I've been saying looks more accurate and is a great sign for the weekend. It increased Tuesday and Thursday, which is definitely a damn good sign for the WOM (I still hold that the Saturday drop was as nasty as it was because of NCAA, that and it took some time to spread). If it increases somewhat over 150% on Friday like I'm expecting, it'll get a cool 5 million Friday which'd give it a 16 million weekend... or at least, I hope so...
