Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
The way they shot the "death" leads me to believe he is alive. They seemed so careful to show him in the WORST, MOST VOLATILE, LEAST SURVIVABLE scenario imaginable, but not a single zombie tooth touching his flesh. Reminds me a bit of when Colin Farrell "died" at the end of the second episode of True Detective.
Anyway, another exciting episode. Interesting and, in a nice way, odd season so far. Lots of chaos and conflict and confusion within a limited time frame, shown from various perspectives.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Killing him that way would be the dumbest thing the show has done... probably ever.
Glenn has survived so so many zombie instances where certain death was going to happen. I feel setting up the fact that he has not killed any living person just to have him die in the hands of zombies is the wrong way to go about it. He is the only character that I would believe have survived this ordeal. He NEEDS to be killed by a person, be it Wolf or someone completely different because he's proven to be the king of getting out of sticky situations. I'm not sad that he is dead. I have been predicting his demise for the past two seasons. I'm just bitter how it happened.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
What's funny is... they do all this, and then put Rick in a sticky situation... and now it looks like the next episode will be a governor-like Morgan episode.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
USA Today actually had a nice write up on Glenn's true or not demise. Basically it was about how their core group doing their darndest to try and help the folks of Alexandria is only putting them in unsafe situations that they wouldn't otherwise be in. Glenn putting all his faith in a guy who had shown time and time again to be fragile and weak and even dangerous since he even tried to kill him. That's a terrible way for Glenn to go out but it is a just way because he put his trust into someone he never should have trusted to begin with.
Carol never would have made this mistake.
Michonne almost did that episode.
The village of Alexandria was probably doomed to fall to the Wolves whether Rick and Co were there or not in the end but I just can't believe all the people that have died since they showed up. They turned a relatively tranquil, peaceful and decently protected community into complete disarray now.

I've legit had multiple friends text me today asking if I watched it. Haven't had that happen in a while.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I'm not sure how Glenn isn't dead. That wasn't his blood pouring everywhere but Nicholas's? Even so, how does he survive the horde?
But I don't even think the death/non-death of Glenn was the most devastating part of the show. The whole thing is so grim this season.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Creator said we will see him again. My guess is Maggie has to find out and we see the zombie Glenn, which could be very well extremely emotional. I mean usually the main characters are killed before they turn or right after they turn.

Zombies like human blood though, it's already turned zombie blood they don't care about. I'd say he slides under the dumpster. But have little hope that's the case.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I wasn't a huge fan of the Morgan episode. It was interesting and all and I was even wishing we learn what had happened to Morgan from the last time we saw him before the episode aired. It just felt a bit long. I even fell asleep watching it.
This past episode was nice. I liked how the new town doctor was coming into her own and was surprised by her action later in the episode. I liked seeing the town leader try to get things back on track by laying out all these new ideas on a map of the town to help it rebuild again. It was a shame her son totally trashed her a couple scenes later demoralizing her. Finally, I'm tired of Rick. Maybe the town needs him maybe it doesn't but I think he's got to go. He can be too extreme at times and seems to have lost his empathy and compassion. He's turning into a Governor type character from my point of view. I still think Glenn is dead. Too have him be able to escape that swarm of walkers would just be over the top.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I mean, I loved last week and thought this week was OK. But that's what this show does. It doesn't have a ton of episodes that EVERYONE agrees on.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Last week was aces. This week was ... good. But definitely a major slowdown. And I have we find out definitively Glenn's fate by mid-season's end. I don't want this "Is he or isn't he?" thing to continue all season.

Also, anyone catch Alexandra Breckenridge on Talking Dead? Maggie's the hottest on the show, but... man. Alexandra looked all kinds of awesome on Talking Dead.

Yes. He will bring new life into the show. Should see an uptick in viewers when it will (probably) need it.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Also, if his first appearance is indeed this season's finale, it could break every cable tv record it already has.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
It's too bad these episodes don't get the same reaction as the higher-octane episodes. I thought "Always Accountable" was an enjoyable hour. Too bad Tina bit it. She was fairly cute. It was a solid Daryl episode, and not bad for Abraham and Sasha, two characters I find less and less interesting as the show progresses.
And, that had to be Glenn on the walkie talkie, right? I don't see how it could be anyone else. People say it didn't sound like him, but... come on.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
I think many could call this a lackluster season, but this is honestly one of the most unpredictable seasons yet. No matter what it is still fantastic TV

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Glenn lives that's great.
What I focus on is that teen who stole the bullets. Omg. I just thought he was going to random kill Carl at the end of that. It reminded me of senseless murders or shootings. I sure hope that doesn't happen. Why do they keep giving weapons to people that try to hurt them? Just crazy. That kid looks crazy.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 6)
Terrific episode. I had been undecided on whether Glenn would be missed, but honestly, I was happy he was alive. And I loved his scenes with Enid. She could be a good replacement for Beth. The show needs a young character that is strong despite being an underdog in this world.
What an ending too. Just a somber moment that hopefully "thins the herd" a bit next week, with maybe a surprise death or two? The show kind of wimps out when a big moment like this happens, leaving everyone in tact.
