Woooooah. Ok, the only theater I know about right now is the Broadway Metroplex 4, which has one screen for Guess Who, one for The Ring Two (though the first two of five shows are Robots), and TWO for Sin City. That might not sound like much, but this is a FOUR screener, and they always try to fill whatever they can in. Definitely a good sign. Oh, and the Lloyd Center 18 will be getting two screens for Beauty Shop.

Sin City isn't listed on my theatre on Fandango yet... Though I counted up the screens and it's 15 (the theatre is Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18) so maybe we might get 3 screens. \:D/

Saw a sneak preview of Sin City at 7:00 PM. Obviously the movie was sold out, but I was bummed because two of my friends weren't able to make it in thanks to the huge line.
Trailers:
Amityville Horror (First time i've seen this one in theaters, it was pretty damn solid but not as creepy as when I saw it alone in my pitch black room)
Anyways, I'll give a longer review for the movie, but I'll say this: It's not the be all to end all best movie of the year, but it was still really damn great. Mickey Rourke definitely stole the show as Marv, the audience loved him and for good reason, he's the Capt. Jack Sparrow of the movie (only here there's tons of other cool characters too). Though Rourke's story was definitely my favorite, Clive Owen also kicked ass and took names as Dwight in what felt like the longest but also the most well made of the three stories (Rourke's was cooler but didn't flow quite as well in my opinion). Lemme tell you, this was the final proof that Owen would be awesome as the next Bond. And while Bruce Willis and his story were still great, I felt that it lacked considerably from the other two. It might have just been that it felt much more bleak, but despite having the best villian and performance from any of the actresses with Jessica Alba, it didn't feel half as solid as the other two looking back on it. Might have also been from the movie have already been going for a good 90 minutes.
I should also note that this is an EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY gory movie. If you're turned off by blood, decapitations, castration, limbs being ripped off or people being beaten (literally) into a bloody pulp, you definitely won't want to go to this one after the annual Lasagna eat-off. But it's very stylized and much of it is in black and white, so it's not as bad as say the Crazy 88 scene from Kill Bill, though it's close. I'll say more when the movie's properly absorbed, but for now I'd give it a somewhat soft A.

I am working early shift tomorrow, so I'll give you the reports before 8:30.
BTW, I was as my theater today, and Beautyshop wasn't making a dent at the theater (the biggest show was like 50 people, not very good), and also, Sin City sold out during it 12:01 am show in our 600 seater, so we added another one (with 3 hours left). It's looking good.

Wow, I'm really starting to get happy, SIN CITY should be really huge. It only has one screen at my theater, but it only has one screen. THE RING TWO had two screens though, I wish SIN CITY would since I'm sure that SIN CITY will be much bigger than THE RING TWO. I still feel bad for THE RING TWO, it was a really fun movie, and it's not doing so great at the box office I know for a fact that people will be shocked at the material in SIN CITY. I've heard from midnight shows that the audiences weren't expecting what they got, and were shocked, this could be really good for it's box office because people will be intrigued.

Yeah right! It might be much better than THE RING TWO, but it so won't be making a lot more $$$ than THE RING TWO.
