I think I might honestly be out! Only 10 posters now and everyone seems to troll/ hate me. I joined BO for the day (Thanks for the link jacko!) and saw old poster/friends.

I honestly never looked for another forum because I consider this the people that are here awesome. But for the last year it hurts doing a thread or commenting and people immediately backlash on it. I mean it doesn't bother me, but I miss the conversations/ etc love for cinema that just isn't there anymore.

Your welcome, as I am glad you are enjoying the new BOF. Also, it is a shame that this place has users that I guess are more interested in ruining threads, based on your backlash comment, for their own selfish pleasure, rather than only posting positively, in threads that they are truly interested.

That being said, I have no problems with either of you two. Overall I just think the tone of the forum has shifted over the last few years, and I think the content has suffered sometimes. We all say pretty stupid shit on a regular basis. I was pretty drunk when I said I'm out. I doubt I'll stop posting as I do agree there are a lot of knowledgable people on here (Yourselves included!) The people of BO are just silly, they could have reached out to me and I would have either a) merged sites or b) hosted their site for minimal cost. Some people just like doing it the hard way.

I tried to merge with them 3 years ago when they all were displaced, they didn't want to. I tried to create a derby with them, they wanted to do it on their own (never happened). I really wish things played out differently.

Their loss, I guess.

I'd say everyone's loss. We don't have the people to make the games fun, they do. They don't have the resources to build them, we do. In the end, we all lose.

A shitty situation that everyone is in. And all the blame lies with BOM.

I think it's best to leave the two groups separate. The main difference is the people. BO.com people are sensitive fucktards. WOKJ people are far more relaxed.

The forum will have a chance to discuss it before I agree to any merger. Most likely scenario is that we host both separate, each group can do as it pleases.

Can you dumb this down for me? Does that mean that essentially all of their users would come over to this very forum? Would we have a new "boss" so to speak? I am ignorant when it comes to hosting...etc

A) They opted not to let me host them.
B) If they ever change their mind, they will become the forum for Box Office Seer.
C) There would be no merger, WoKJ forums would remain the forums on WoKJ.

Well now that a list was involved I feel REALLY dumb!

Everyone here has a character...then again, there are so few people posting, but even then, there are intelligent discussions and points made up. Quality > quantity.
