Have lots to say but as said above I am going to follow the rules and deal with the ADM through the PM. And, GOLDIE would like to point out that the above GOLDIE response was only made based on a new user coming in with some GOLDIE bashing which Goldie decided that GOLDIE needed to come in and defend GOLDIE's position on the inappropiate GOLDIE bashing.
I was just asking if you could stop. I was hoping to be civil about it instead of going off on you in another thread. I know you've had some bad experiences here, but not everything is some sort of falmebait or insult in the eighth degree. But instead you took the more bitter route and continued to do it, instead of taking into consideration something that really bothers me. It doesn't bother me in a "Hm, I don't really like that, but oh well" kind of way, it's a very serious thing to me. I do not like it, and I would really appreciate it if you stopped.

Luckily I found a telephone number of Brandon Gray and called him: "Dood! Where are those friday numbers?! Where????!! And some guy is wrecking the forums."
I wasnt at BOM at that time [i left like a year earlier] but i did hear about it today and boy....people know how to over-react.

I think the moderators do a very fine job of moderating the forums and are trying hard to create a fair environment. The one thing I would just add is that I think moderators should be much more present in threads and issues. I find that a lot of things are just kind of brushed off because the moderators are regular members as well, and so a lot of "respected" members, because they are so popular, get away with a lot of horrible things they say or do. Some members can get away with obvious harrassing of other members because it's apparently just "poking fun" or "joking around". I don't like how certain members are allowed to get away with this because they are popular.
Overall though, I wouldn't change or fire any of the moderators. I think they all try very hard, and the forums are always kept in good shape. I appreciate the work.
PEACE, Mike

LOL, I know. I'm as shocked as you are.
But Mav and I are in complete agreement on this issue. I like this site and wish only the best for it.

Goldie thinks these are very wise words from a well-respected member and an ex-moderator from BOM

Umm, I hope a new apology thread will be opened. I have some concerns with the entire situation now. Big concerns. At first, I shurgged the whole thing off, but after reading about a certian member's post, and seeing it, I feel somewhat angry and disappointed in our mods. Okay, REALLY disappointed and pissed off. What in the world were you guys thinking?!! I know we are a close community and we love to play, but did you ever consider you might hurt someone? I feel so bad for the person you exploited by your sick joke, and I don't know what to think. I'm ashamed.

Well, what can I say? I knew this would happen. I knew this joke was going to backfire. I honestly feel like crap now, because I knew of the whole thing right from the getgo. I was never an active member in the plotting of it, but I should have said something before this got out of hand. I should have outed it as soon as I could tell where the thread was going. I realize i'm not exactly in a great place to judge, but i'm still disappointed in all of you that wouldn't let this go when we all saw where it was headed. I'm really upset that you guys didin't listen to me at the very start of this whole mess when I told you it wasn't a good idea. Whatever. You guys have to deal with this now.

To the mods,
I'm not sure if I am mad at any one of you in particular. Just frusturated and a little disgusted. I hate to ruin any of the great friendships I have with some of you, and I want you to know I am more furious at the result of this little scheme than at any of you. Even still, you should be ashamed by the result of your actions.
Zach.

I consider myself to be somewhat evil and what I saw and what I read today was just totally harsh. Playing with people's emotions in that certain way isn't the way anyone in power should do. I really feel sorry for some members who took advice in that thread and made life changing decisions over this fraud. April fool's is supposed to be in good fun and now you've fucked it up.

Anybody want to start taking bets on how fast mods start getting "demodded" and fighting among eachother? I fully expect to see some of those pranks soon enough. Make it good guys. You're all ready for your closeup.

Wait, what?!
I was involved in the extremely early stages of it when it was just an idea for an April Fools joke. I wasn't any part of deciding the main idea, though.

Well then, groveling with humbled heads is all that I'll be expecting to see for the next 26 hours and 15 minutes, and then I'll believe it. [-(

You're making me angry, man. You show me one instance - one - where I said "Hey, Zing having a kid and possibly getting an abortion is a great idea! How do I help?" You were in on this, so you point me in the direction of the April Fools thread where I said that, or even mentioned anything about this being a good idea.

You may not have supported it 100% but you certainly didn't shout out your objections. It's a bit late now to take the high road isn't it.

Page 12 of the thread. Is that not expressing my objection?

You're a cool guy so I'm going to take a step back before it gets ugly.
Yes, you expressed your objection. No, it wasn't absolute.
End of story.
