This was so bad! but Elizabth Mitchel's entrance was epic.

I wish they'd made the episode a little more simple and just had Emma and Elsa getting personal with each other in the ice for a large portion of it, even though I guess it'll take a little longer for them to open up to each other, compared to Charming and Anna who are more used to believing in people.

Snow's scenes were great for being about turning on electrical power (and like her as the mayor). Henry receding a bit and then putting himself out there at the end was great too. Bo Peep plot was a little mailed in though the real point was Charming-Anna

Elizabeth Mitchell better have more to do in this arc than her current one-note villain role. I'm intrigued by how she is connected to Emma though.

I didn't pay attention to 90% of the storyline with Elsa and Kristoff.

I thought it was a good episode. I do see Rumple is back to his dark ways. I wonder what his plan is and how he knows the Snow Queen.

Don't make Snow Queen Emma's adoptive mom. PLEASE DON'T. Plus Elizabeth Miutche is far too good for this show.

Uh yeah she is So is like every other cast member except Henry But Elizabeth Mitchell should be headlining her own series, not stuck in a supporting role in a cash-in plotline on this shitty show

While Mitchell is still good still think Carlyle is the best actor on the show. And it appears he is going back to his dark ways. I imagine his son's death caused that.

Finally watched the 3RD episode, I was sick/exhausted for a week and I like the show too much to burn an episode while out of it mentally - holy moly, such an entertaining episode! Such great dialog writing and funny moments in this episode, fast moving plot, Hook, Kristoff, Hans, Jiminy, Will, etc. all had great moments and this was the most I've liked Elsa so far. Love this approach with the Snow Queen and Elizabeth Mitchell's performance, making her quieter and much closer to being good, just confused is the right throat cleanser after the last 2 villains, the scene with her telling Elsa about how they turned on her and showing her return to Arendelle was so good!

Elizabeth Mitchell is so good on OUAT!!!! I'm loving this season so far. According to Adam Horowitz's twitter, this season has 23 episodes! Yay!

The way Snow has been written in this season, despite being outside the main plot arcs and having to efficiently use smaller pieces of of screen time, has been pure skill. Has felt both emotionally vital (that the new life has made her miss the old one, not all wounds are healed, etc.) and also, just tons of charming scenes thanks to Ginnifer Goodwin playing off characters like Grumpy or Will

The Hook/hand stuff was so great bc Hook asking for the hand in the first place was selfish and the 'old him'. Emma didn't need that hand for the date... Hook did it for him, as did he pull on Rumple's tail way too hard because of his own reasons of still holding onto that resentment. But unlike Rumple he felt guilt about what he did, which is at least a sign of development. The Anna-Rumplestiltskin contrast was great too because Anna basically got her education about believing in any monster, that was some serious intense emotional manipulation ass whooping. But the fact that she was tempted by darkness in the first place also means deep down, there's also potential for her to slip, or damage from the same things (her parents, etc.) that screwed Elsa up. Anna being locked up for so long means she wants to go out and prove herself and that she's getting all out of life, but this also makes her, not entirely selfless. Also liked how in the end of that episode Anna can't quite trust Elsa enough to tell her, helping show Anna is someone who has to fight to believe in people, it's not second nature

I did like that Sidney ditches Regina as soon as she starts doing good... Sidney isn't right for Regina because he's never believed in her good side... he's just an addict to her bad side. If he believed in Regina more he'd have gotten more love from her in return and they'd have helped each other. So Sidney thinks the Snow Queen can be his new Regina, but after she's decent hearted enough to let him go and might be capable of love instead of being another evil queen like figure, he doesn't want to stay with her either when given the choice. Sidney's just an addict and that's costing him real love or acceptance. Emma is more capable of seeing Regina's good side and that's why she's a better friend for her now

So how powerfull is The Snow Queen? I mean even Rumple respects her.

Last episode wasn't my favorite for some plot and dialog reasons (not sure about the thing with the sisters and Emma), but they did something over-due for years, making Belle interesting and messed up like the others. By being someone who's made feel weak by having others control her all her life. Which shows why she needed to get back her memory so much - it wasn't that seeing her mother die would change anything at all, but she needed to do it to gain back power over herself from others, etc. for once. Which also shows what a broken foundation that marriage has already started with by Rumple tapping into her darkest insecurity of being weak and controllable, in addition to it being thrown in her face that all her work to change him, has made way less permanent impact than she thought, again making her feel like she's weak

The part I kind of liked about the Snow Queen/Ingrid-Anna stuff in that episode is there was little difference between them. Anna jumps to the conclusion without giving her a chance that SQ is bad by going to Pabbie to confirm what she already thought, then when he told her to just talk to Ingrid, Anna rejected the advice and *still* thought Ingrid was evil just based on keeping secrets (which Anna also does) and wanted to rush back to warn Elsa. When Anna saw the storm she immediately reached for the hat to destroy (magically) SQ, which isn't that different from SQ seeing Anna carry the hat/box (as big a threat as the storm) and reacting with setting a storm on her. SQ reacted extremely aggressively but it wasn't that different than Anna immediately diagnosing SQ as a threat. Both screwed up and is another example of how so far Anna has been a more flawed person than Elsa

I rly liked this episode. They are going all out with The Snow Queen.

The Snow Queen has now officially become my favorite characrter from the show ever. She is so crazy and broken at the same time.

Plus the episode was awesome, OUAT is going all out with this.

It was a great two hour episode. Rumple is becoming the main villain of the show now. He has gotten pretty power hungry.

This episode was ridiculous but Elizabeth Mitchell's acting made it work. She is so good.

So the Frozen sequence ends I see - nicely wrapped up. So now they take on the three villainesses.

Elizabeth Mitchell was actually really good in the latest episode. Loved her flashback scenes with young Emma - they made me miss Juliet . I need her as a regular on a show that won't get cancelled ASAP

Why is Cruella de Vil a character on this stupid show? She isn't a fairy tale character and was a businesswoman in the movie, so why would she be in the fairy tale world? What is she going to do in this villain trio?

Also, I loved how they altered Maleficent's costume to look exactly like the one from Maleficent even though it never looked like that before. They never miss an opportunity for a cash grab

On the plus side yay for Belle actually doing something. I'd love for her to have an actual plotline that wasn't 100% Rumple focused.

No Angelina as Maleficent? Boo.

A skinny Ursula? Pass.

Cruella? Seriously? Ugh.

I thought Rumple got what he deserved. He treated Belle pretty horribly.

You ALMOST felt bad for him, because that was hella good acting on his part.
