This was one of the most pointless, stupid episodes of True Blood ever. And that's saying something. Does a single viewer of the show care about anything that happened in Bill's flashbacks? Like...what was the point?

LOL I completely disagree. Loved tonight's episode and thought it was the best of the season. So many good one liners too.

Caught up on season 5 and 6 and all the way up to the latest episode. I have to say that I don't get all the people saying season 5 and 6 sucked. They were pretty good I though.

I like the last season so far.

Bill's flashbacks aside that was a really fun episode, the most I've enjoyed True Blood in awhile.

I'm happy they made Sarah Newlin herself the cure for Hep V, not the boring choice of Sookie like I figured they would.

Anna Camp really needs her own TV show.

Yeah, I actually liked the twist with Sarah Newlin - it was well-executed.

Well it's not like they'd kill Bill, Sookie and Eric. Though Bill's is definitely getting odd with the speed of it. I loved the lawyer scenes. Just a really great season.

And here I thought Tara was going to be the source of the cure. Now that subplot really is super pointless so far, and her jibberish she speaks in the dreams are just laughable.

The Jason/ Violet subplot is crazy. No idea what's gonna happen. I thought for a minute Jason was going to die or at least get castrated, haha. Violet is just one creepy character in general.

She'd probably get some lame romantic drama show. There aren't many juicy crazy characters like Sarah Newlin on TV. I really like the season so far.

I'm 4 episodes into this season and I think the show is at its best so far, the constant danger makes the stakes really intense and the scenes with Sookie, Bill, Eric, Pam have all been excellent

Despite the cure I'd be surprised if Eric survived the season. They already made us feel like it's his time when telling Pam he's had his thousand years to power fuck the world (sorry, make it his oyster)

Loved Carrie Preston and Anna Camp's scenes tonight.

Another really strong episode, especially the Sarah vision and Arlene/Sam's talk. They probably should've just hooked those two up to end the series...

Didn't think I'd get this jacked up about this show again... such a huge difference between binging and watching it weekly for this show, I noticed that a few years ago too when I waited until S5 was finished to watch it all. Almost wish I waited another month before catching up

Uneven episode. A few great scenes. A few crap ones. I have always dug and apologized for Bill, but his Civil War-era remembrances are so very dull. Eric rashly true-death murdering Sarah's vampire sister felt forced and unnecessary to me. And then they were able to easily find her with a satellite?

Eric getting offered 49% of a 3 billion a year company to be its spokesperson was a stretch

I fast-forwarded through the Bill flashback scenes They always drag an episode down.

Three thoughts:

1) The Bill/Sookie sex scene was hilariously unsexy. Poor Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer having to act out such a ridiculous thing as a married couple. lol

2) Did anything happen in this episode? ANYTHING?

3) I want a spinoff with Arlene and Sarah Newlin. Just because.

There was a YouTube video (that has now been removed) from a guy who worked on the last season of True Blood and got fired. I heard about it a few weeks ago but what he said sounded so ridiculous I didn't bother mentioning it or anything. Now after the past few weeks, a few things he said have happened and things are starting to add up.

I'm a little scared because the end of it sounds awful if it's really true. I really, really hope it's just a coincidence. I don't want this to end badly.

The last episode was good but I have yet to feel like it's almost the end (besides the scene a few weeks ago with Ginger haha).

I fell asleep during tonight's episode What I saw was mediocre though and the Tara twist was dumb. Also can Bill just die? I hate him

I thought it was good besides the lame Tara bullshit. Loved the scenes with Jessica and Hoyt. The scene where Sookie discovers Sarah was hysterical too.

The farewell to Tara is borderline offensive. A big buildup to (drum roll) cheesy absolution for no-wire-hangers Lettie Mae? Damn.

I was starting to slip into the groove of this season (a compromised and low-key, but solid rounding out of the story), but this episode, in my opinion, represented a definite regression. The end of Violet plays as a total nonevent, so it is annoying in retrospect how much time the series devoted to her over the last couple of episodes.

The Jessica/Hoyt scenes made me smile, reminded me how much I used to enjoy this show.

What even was this episode? Other than Deborah Ann Woll selling her scenes with much more dignity than is deserved at this point, this episode was awful. This show needs to end.

Even Tara haters were probably pissed off by the indignity of her character's exit, culminating in last night's ridiculousness.
