Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2 I have watched 4 episodes now and what a bunch of garbage this show is. I will watch it until the end to give it every last chance to impress me (and because it's Terminator), but really this show is an insult to the stellar movies, and makes Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines look Oscar worthy.
In fact, The Asylum film, Terminators, is on a par with this TV series in terms of quality and suspense. After I've watched both seasons, I will grade all the Terminator entities as I've at that point I will have seen them all.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 1
Dire. TV at its worst. Cheaply ripping-off the masterful films with crappy characters, sloppy dialogue, minimal action, awful effects, long passages of nothing happening, and TV melodrama. One of the worst TV series' I've ever seen.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2 I've just watched the first episode of Series 2, and while it's better than the first season, it's still crap. It's just not-as-crap crap now. But this is more watchable since the production value seems higher. But the problems still exist with the TV-level crap-alogue, and awful acting by all involved. Oh, and a deadly Terminator that just let's people live. First, the black guy after the siege, then the same black guy after seeing him outside their burnt house. It's as if they're almost buddies! Then the part where the female Terminator wants to kill John, and just when they are about to kill her, he changes his mind in some weird machine fetish love, and suddenly she's back to normal. Lena Headey has to be the worst actress ever. Manly, bad acting, fugly, with a stupid name.

Marginally better than the first season, but it's still TV at its worst. Thomas Dekker (John) and Lena Headey (Sarah) are some of the worst actors in entertainment. Summer Glau (Cameron) is also bad, but I suppose she is excused as Arnold was excused in T3 because they were playing cyborgs so woodenness is expected.
This season makes everything very complicated, and I imagine a third season would just complicate the Terminator story even more, and I do not want that at all. It's best if it stays cancelled. But knowing Fox and Warner Bros., it will most likely get rebooted if/when the new Terminator movie is a success.
