I hear it's a final two this year - about time!

I must see Kass in the final two so she gets yelled at by everyone. Lady is so sure of herself for NO REASON.

It really is quite fascinating to see such a lack of complete self-awareness.

I'm pulling for Spencer vs. Tony. That would be epic.

Alright, I can work with that. Tony is a perfectly good winner. Spencer was right, he played his ass off without being outright nasty to most of these people. And I'm glad the jury was non-bitter enough to realize that.

Why did Tasha vote for Woo to win?? How random. I think she was his only vote.

I have decided I rather dig Kass. I believe her game play is undervalued, and I find her icy quality curiously charismatic. I hope she plays again.

Ya an odd vote from Tasha, who seemed like a very strategic player.

I was super bummed for Spencer, but SO thankful it didn't turn out to be Kass vs. Woo, which would've been awful. Tony deserved it.

Oh Woo, so naive...

Hm. I do not remember being particularly blown away by the Blood vs. Water concept the first time.

I really wanted to see Kass in the final two for schadenfreude purposes but that would've meant Woo would've won. Which would have just been absurd. So if it wasn't gonna be Spencer, Tony winning the was best outcome (for me).

The reunion was horrible as usual (fuck you, Probst, I want to hear from the actual players, not goddamn Tyler Perry!). But the season was freaking awesome. One of their all time best.

I can envision many of these people coming back for another season: Tony, Spencer, Tasha, Kass, maybe Trish...

Blood vs. Water 1 was a pretty good season despite a predictable ending. Hope 2.0 is good...there's some players that have been on my wish list to return, like Kim Spradlin.

Quote:
People reports that Caleb Bankston, who competed on Survivor: Blood and Water, died on Tuesday when the train he was on derailed.

Bankston, who worked at the Alabama Warrior Railway in Birmingham, was 26. He competed on the show in 2013 alongside his fiancé, Colton Cumbie, ending the game in ninth place.

“Caleb was an amazing man and friend,” fellow contestant Aras Baskauskas told People. “One of the sweetest and most sincere humans I’ve ever come across. I am gutted by his loss. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.”

Bankston is the third Survivor contestant to die since the show premiered in 2000. In 2010, Jenn Lyon, who placed fourth on Survivor: Palau in 2005, died after a long battle with breast cancer. Last year, original Survivor contestant B.B. Andersen died at age 77 after a battle with brain cancer.
