 The Tony's!
I don't know if anyone else here is a big theater geek like I am or not but I figured I would post a thread anyway. I'm majorly stoked for the award show tonight. I have a friend at the dress rehearsal right now and he's been texting me about how awesome most of the numbers are. I'm most excited for the Hedwig number. I'm seeing it (along with 7 other shows) in a few weeks and can't wait for it. Hopefully NPH takes home his Tony. And Algren, there is going to be a huge Rocky number if you are interested.

 Re: The Tony's!
Yes please! Send me the link. Is it likely to win any of these awards? I would love for it to win the Best Lighting Design of a Musical since I am in the stage lighting industry and follow news on that quite a bit.

http://www.firedrive.com/file/4B183742DF0C8F2AJust click "continue to file" and you can stream it without downloading it. It's doubtful, but we'll see. Hedwig is going to dominate a lot of the tech categories from what I've heard. It's also too bad because the bits and pieces I've seen of the show I've really enjoyed. It's not doing well at the box office and with no nomination for Best Musical, I can't imagine it lasting long. I'm seeing it in two weeks from Wednesday!

 Re: The Tony's!
Neil Patrick Harris killed it. I wish I could see Hedwig on Broadway.

Also, Bullets over Broadway!

 Re: The Tony's!
NPH was incredible and very sweet and gracious when I met him.
Bullets was a TON of fun. Zach Braff was wonderful when I met him as well. I told him Garden State was in my top 3 movies of all time and I even loved The Last Kiss. We had a 3 or 4 minute conversation about movies that we love, his new movie, etc. He also posed for a picture with me. Very sweet, genuine, gracious guy.

 Re: The Tony's!
Hedwig (the movie) may not have mainstream appeal or recognition, but it does have many fans.
Anyway, I've listened the soundtrack to A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder since the Tony's, and it's quite good.
